Monroe's Restaurant

Excellent first impression. Staff friendly and helpful. Clean and tidy. We visited for breakfast and I enjoyed the sausage and egg brioche bun. Very tasty indeed. The price I paid for 3 breakfasts was decent also. Clean loos and plenty of parking. Will definitely consider a return visit if in the neighborhood.

Just popped in here by chance and was pleasantly surprised, was a lovely atmosphere and really polite helpful staff, the food was delicious and reasonably priced. My only issue is it could have been a bit warmer, sometimes you expect food to not be so hot when a place is busy and under pressure but it was really quiet and only a few diner's! But overall we enjoyed our meal and would definitely come back again.

The food was really nice different than usual only gripe I had was for both me and the wife there wasn't enough choice. Prices were good but put of by lack of choice. Wife ordered fish goghons but instead of chips she wanted mash potato but was told they didn't do potato. Wasn't sure if there was an evening menu or not which might have been better but this was not something that was offered to us. We were in around 3:30. The restaurant inside was really nicely done looks really well. All in all was a lovely restaurant with really nice food but lack of choice spoilt it for us. I'm not sure if we would rush to go back at that time again.

I wasn't keen on the idea of going to Monroe's as it was where Frankie & Benny's had been & I'd never liked F&B's and the menu was much the same. But as my nephew had swimming lessons at the pool next door, it was the handiest option. & I couldn't have been more wrong. Yes, the menu is similar but the food is much better quality. I got the chicken stack and couldn't fault it. Actually, as I don't like batter, they grilled my chicken instead & our waitress couldn't do enough for us. Would go back.

Monroes has an excellent meal deal for the cinema and a meal which basically means a fee cinema ticket. My meal was delicious and so was my cocktail. The portion size was more than satisfying, I had plenty to take home! I will definitely be back. If I was to improve on anything is just making sure the customers were aware which days the meal deal with the cinema is on, apart from this everything was delicious and the staff were amazing! Thank you
