On Sunday Night me and my family had the pleasure of visiting this pub, and we must say it was an absolutely lovely experience. The cozy atmosphere, complete with an open fire crackling in the corner. The staff were not only attentive but also incredibly friendly, making us feel right at home from the moment we walked in.
The drinks and food offers are great value. The pub offers a large food menu of cheap and cheerful pub grub and a good selection of beverages. It can get really busy, especially with families at weekends. Probably so popular due it's friendly staff and big value menu making it one of our favourite pub chain pubs in the area. We can't wait to come back. Only gripe. It's not dog friendly. But it's a pub chain decision so nothing you can do about that. But we will be back soon. Great food and service here, been lots of times and always had great meals with family and friends. Our Saint Bernard meet crew even met here after the cafe at Cuerden park was too busy and they were very accommodating

Came in for a quick drink with my boyfriend and ended up staying all night. The staff couldn’t do enough for us. Massive shout out to Maggie on the bar, Joe and Ethan. We wanted for nothing, couldn’t fault the prices or the food if we tried. Will certainly be back soon.

Decided to come for tea and try the classic menu and from start to finish the service was outstanding from bar staff to the young manager who swiftly helped and cared for our concerns. Would highly recommend.

Great value meal at the Poachers.
The portion size was really good and the service was incredibly fast and efficient. Everyone was really friendly but Andrew in particular really took the time to talk to us and entertained the kids. Top bloke and definitely goes the extra mile.

Ordered 3 substantial meals, one being a full mixed grill and 3 soft drinks an it only came to £38.75. Food was really decent,well presented an tasty. An additional desert was only 4.75 an it was large. Will come again for reasonable food an prices.

We went to our local pub, The Poachers, on Wednesday, to try their quiz night. It was incredibly busy but I must say, the staff were still smiling and very welcoming.
The food came and it was exactly what we expected and more, my partner decided to go for a curry and a drink which was only £7! What a bargain!
We will definitely be back again and we would like to thank Leah and Christian who were brilliant. They looked after us well like we were already regulars!
