We love to travel all over the place and one of our many favourites is to look around garden centres ,as just to see beautiful flowers and plants with their amazing colours give us all a breath of fresh air......Today the 12th of October we visited here, the place deserves more than its name says as there is so much more to see than just plants.......As always most of these places have all the gardening tools and accessories you would need for your garden plus the seeds and bulbs etc so there is a good selection of that for you.....I must say all of the plants, shrubs and flowers were very well presented giving a lovely display throughout the garden centre....There is also a lovely gift area with all the Christmas decorations etc on display.....The onsite cafe is also very nice, there are so many lovely indoor plants around the tables you feel as if you are in a tropical jungle having your refreshments.......The staff were all welcoming and lovely,we only had drinks as it was a bit late for breakfast and too early for lunch for us but I'm sure the food is lovely..... Overall a lovely place to visit.....👍
We asked for advice for a north facing, cold part of our garden. We wanted grasses and not flowers as they generally die, to fill our troughs. Great results, great advice and loads of choice. Friendly too.
Popped in for breakfast, we we're greeted & seated straight away. My husband had the full English breakfast, and he was very satisfied with it. Not the slightest bit greasy & everything was a very good quality. The others had a selection of cake & scones, all very fresh & tasty. We have already planned a second visit.
All the staff in the garden centre are very friendly & helpful.

The restaurant is superb, excellent service, tasty plentiful menu and a fantastic setting with plenty of room between the tables. The plants are brilliant as well. Perfect.
One of the most beautiful gardens centres I've ever been! They have so many types of indoor and outdoor plants. There's also a corner full of plants for ponds. You can find some plants on sale too if you're lucky.
There's a cafeteria and a shop inside.
Lovely place!
First time visit to this wonderful garden centre (my birthday treat) and I am very impressed.
Very tidy, clean and well presented, healthy plant displays and lots of lovely garden accessories and gift ideas at very reasonable prices.
Had a very good brunch in the restaurant too.
Super roomy car park, friendly staff, busy but not over crowded.
I shall definitely be returning again soon and highly recommend it if you are fed up with the same old 'chain' type garden centres selling the same tired old plants.
We were served by Tara yesterday and although we were warned there would be an approx wait of 25 mins we were served very quickly. Tara was very attentive and even stayed for a chat which made us feel very welcomed. Thanks Tara
Loving the Christmas displays and wooden elf houses on of which you can actually go in - took my kids and they loved it even at the ages of 23 and 19.
Ate again in the restaurant which is really very good value for money.
Well done🌲🎅☃️❄️
The garden centre has an excellent range of good quality plants, many of which have been grown on site. Look out for sale items (especially as full-price ones can be a touch on the expensive side). It's definitely worth visiting to see what they have in stock; and a phone call in advance would save an unnecessary journey should you have something specific in mind. Staff are knowledgeable and helpful.
There's also a café (an overwhelming smell of fried onions the day we visited) and a gift shop, as well as a vast space that sells every conceivable variety of tool, type of seed, brand of barbecue - but I can only vouch for the outdoor space and its pretty plants
Good independent garden centre with excellent cafe. Specifically wanted a Clematis on this visit - choice was excellent, with multiples of each type available to choose from. All the plants looked very healthy!☺️
