I would highly recommend Michelle’s celebration cakes and the afternoon teas. She made a lovely birthday cake for us in June and we had many afternoon teas delivered during the last lockdown. The cafe in Bampton is lovely and has a good selection of cupcakes etc.

I had my wedding cake made here - it was absolutely delicious! I had sent a few pictures of what I wanted and they made it exactly as I wished. The cake itself was beautiful and the flavours delicious! highly recommend!

A Surprise Knock at the door , smiling face ,a gift from our son and his family ,
We were on “lockdown “ and could not get to celebrate our Grandsons 17 th birthday ,
Delicious sandwiches , ( daintily made , no crusts ) beautifully presented , 2 scones
Home made , 1 with , 1 without fruit , conserve strawberry jam , clotted cream , and 2 homemade cup cakes ,
One chocolate, 1 raspberry.———-a real treat , and a birthday celebration afternoon tea . Highly Recommend.

Lovely spot for a cup of something and cake. I had a lovely GF Brazilian Afternoon Cake but the cupcakes looked absolutely amazing! Very friendly proprietor. Would definitely return if only to get gluten eating friends to try the glorious cupcakes!

I visited Bampton in December during the snow - it was a real Winter Wonderland. After walking around and enjoying the scenery I was ready to warm up again and get some tea. And lucky me the bakery was open and I had the most amazing Cream Tea - this was the moment I felt in love with scones!
It´s such a cosy and friendly place and these cakes really are extraordenary!

This was the birthday cake made by Michelle for my husband's 50th birthday. It was amazing and tasted delicious too. There was enough for 50 people and it looked so realistic. So much work and yet so reasonably priced. One clever lady!!

So I knew nothing about coffee, until I got chatting to the owner. He gave us a tour of which coffees were which and what to expect from a brew and what was sweet and which were a bit more sour.
Highly educational. I've been before, but always had a tea. Maybe I'll work my way through the coffees next.
And that's before we talk about the cake... Just have some, you'll not regret it.
All in all... If your in Downton, sorry, Bampton, just go: it's what Lady Mary would do.

The best scone I’ve ever had, lovely hot chocolate, nice atmosphere & peaceful and beautiful place to enjoy a coffee with friends, or cream tea... They had a book I am really enjoying to read. Thank you Michelle and Ivan, highly recommend. ❤️👏🏻👏🏻
