A very friendly and relaxing place to have a pitstop from the heat!! Landlord and regulars were all very friendly. A terrific range of around 100 whiskeys, all arranged alphabetically! Would recommend to anyone visiting Banff. 5 stars! 👍

Definitely worth a visit, We came 2 years ago and it is just as good now. Clearly there is a lot of pride here in running a great place.
Relaxed , friendly , welcome from the customers at the bar and the man behind the counter was very much on the ball with a prompt , efficient and again friendly welcome.
The place is sparely furnished and very clean and behind the bar has an impressive , gleamings range of malts (80+)as the landlord proudly told us .
I would imagine you could have quite a night in this smashing wee local and equally just enjoy a quiet
Pint at the end of a long day.
We visited the railway Inn for three nights whilst we where in Banff. Gordon the landlord and the regulars were very welcoming and helpful. Great pub if you don't want food. Great views of the Bay from behind the pub. Great Scottish atmosphere when it's busy. Thanks for the great hospitality Gordon!
Found the bar while walking around banff Gordon was so friendly and showed us photos and books of old banff beer prices good and we spent 2 lovely evenings in the bar

Friendly local pub. Extensive selection of malt whiskies. Each table top is a different photo of the old Banff railway line.
Great Pub, great people, very welcoming and friendly. Well worth a stop off for a pint and/or a whisky.
Really friendly owner and good service. He gave us lots of tips and hints about the area. Choice of 70 whiskeys available.
