We stopped for coffee after a long journey. Came across this place by chance. Ordered a hot chocolate, a latte, and a mocha. Prices were reasonable for what we ordered. Great range if cakes as well. Service was really friendly, and drinks were superb. Will visit again if in the area.

Yugen stands proud, being the only artisan coffee shop in Bangor. The owner has stuck to what he knows best, making excellent coffee. Yugen Coffee House is the only cafe in Bangor that offers New Zealand roasted All Press, multi origin coffee. The owner informed me it’s a more consistent blend than the locally roasted alternatives. Yugen doesn’t craft awesome coffee. There are a selection of contemporary brunch dishes available. All made with bread sourced from a local baker. The owner was down to earth, chatty and happy to talk about coffee, Bangor life and the weather. Top bloke.

Lovely little café, you could easily walk past it and never notice, but you'll be pleased if you do. I've had a few coffees from there and been happy, but this morning I tried the porridge, and it was lovely. Strawberry's, blueberries, jam, coconut,banana, on top of hot porridge oats. A very hearty meal, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Nice healthy start to the day.
