Subway

I have been a customer of your location for years as I work right down the street. Lots of staff has come and gone. I have had a lot of different experiences depending on the day. I just went in and the current crew you have is the BEST! Upbeat, friendly, efficient, I think I was there for 2 minutes, super fast and my sandwich is delicious! Send them my thanks!

I have frequently visited this location at 570 Stillwater Avenue in Bangor for the last 2 years. The store is always clean and in good condition, and the new remodel looks fantastic. One girl named Cassy seems to always be there when I visit and always does a great job to keep the line moving and provide exceptional customer service with only 2 or 3 people working. The rest of the staff is usually very quick and friendly, however, the tall brown haired girl who I believe is the manager sometimes is not quick to come help during a busy lunch. Since the beginning of covid I have seen the staff be verbally attacked by customers when they enforce the state wide mask mandate. The owner should be doing a better job at managing that so their staff isn’t being beaten on every day. I have also witnessed who I’m going to assume is the owner, older man with raspy voice, walking around with his mask not on while the staff enforces it to customers. I have seen many of the staff come and go which indicates that the workplace environment is poor and employees are not being treated good. If it weren’t for some of the girls who currently work there I would probably not come back.

Very Light on the veggies even when I asked for extra compared to the other subways in the city. Called for curb side pick up and they didn’t answer phone. Had to go into store to pick up my order after specifically putting it in the messsge. Very disappointed. Sandwiches were soggy. Will go to state street subway where I usually go. Sandwiches are 10 times better.

What is there to say? It's a good little subway shop with friendly people. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the bathroom was a little dirty, but I understand that can be fixed. The only thing was when I told them about it they didn't do anything about it. So do with this info what you will. I would recommend if your in the area though.

Sign on the door Christmas Eve hours closes at 3. "Open" light sign is on and it's 2:31 pm. Door is locked. *AFTER* i try to open the door staff inside turned the light off took the sign with holiday hours on it off the door and replaced it with one that had new hours where it closed at 2:30 literally right infront of me. Sick. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
