Came here for brunch today with the wife. Had to wait about 10 minutes to get a table as it was so busy but staff were very quick at turning tables and really friendly with great service. I had the “Captain Ahab’s breakfast” (cooked breakfast) and my wife had the “eggs on fire”. Both meals were great and really tasty, however the “eggs on fire” really are on fire..they were very spicy as the name suggested!! The table we ate at was maybe a wee bit low if you are sat on the couch but it’s just a minor issue and won’t stop us from coming again! Would definitely recommend. Coffee was incredible as well!
Service was good; we didn’t have to wait long to get a table, to get our orders taken and to get our food served. As for the food itself, their bacon was too salty for my taste, the blueberry pancake was a bit lacking in flavour, but the rest of the food was good. The food servings were generous, no complaints there.
We had a superb lunch at the guillemot recently. I had the flat bread and my partner had the rancheros. Everything was fresh, tasted good and the portion size just right, for us anyway. No complaints at all and if you have not tried it then you are definitely missing out on something very special.
5 Star service in this very popular Cafe with the locals which is always a great sign. Really friendly staff. We tucked into a simple but delicous sausage roll with salad, followed by a scrumptious freshly baked scone washed down with great coffee.
Highly recommend.
Nice cafe near Banor Marine.
One can have good heavy breakfast options.
I tried vegetrain food and it was awesome in taste. I also had coffee and hot chocolate and both was amazing.
Nice clean and hygenic place with nice view.
Must try and price like as usal cafe. So no worries
First time in this lovely little Bistro. Food was delicious and the staff so helpful. Would definitely return. However, a little suggestion... change the tea towel that you clean the cutlery with. The one on display and hanging over the rail at the counter was more like a floor cloth. Just these small things that friends pick up when you have recommended your Bistro to them. Thank you.
We felt so welcome when we walked into this lovely little cafe, the staff were so friendly and helpful organising a table for our group.
The coffee and food we had was so tasty, the picture is the Captain Ahab's breakfast.
When I next visit Bangor we will definitely be visiting here again.
Lovely little bistro restaurant near the harbour. It’s a little cramped at lunch time, mainly because it’s so popular and at busy times you have to queue.
No reservations.
Good staff, friendly and efficient - well worth a visit if you visit Bangor.
Delicious baked goods (croissants, scones), meals and drinks, Rachel and the staff are so welcoming and attentive, all with a lovely atmosphere and view! They are also a small cheese shop and have artisan grocery items (charcuterie, olive oils, jams, pickled items, pâtés, crackers, sauces).
This is my absolute favourite place in Bangor!
Really good breakfast/brunch options although not a lot of seating so just be aware of that. Highly recommend though because the food is delicious.
