Glad to see Bawon has improved it's hygiene rating, as it's my local Chinese. Food is decent (usually go for a Chicken Curry or Satay with Crispy Noodles). Portion sizes are good, and you don't give you that bloated feeling after eating!

Best Chinese food in Bangor in my humble opinion. Their Thai Green Curry is outstanding. Be prepared for a wait though between about 6 and 7.30pm. That's how popular it is.

My local and has always been really good. However, something has changed with the Fried Rice. It clumpy, cloggy and sticky. Not the loose tasty rice it used to be. Shame it ruined a tasty black pepper main course.
Edit. Four months on from the above review and the rice appears to be back to normal. Hopefully it was a one off.

Tonight was the first we ordered from this Chinese and we were not disappointed. Perfectly portioned. Fresh food. Best Chinese takeaway I have had in years!
I can recommend the Honey Chilli Shredded chicken and the chicken Katsu curry. Enjoy!

Food is great however it’s let down by the rudeness of the serving staff. Appreciate they are busy etc but tonight the guy serving hadn’t the time to allow me to speak and he obviously hadn’t the time to deal with customers. Shame cause it’s good grub.
