Honestly everything about the Ava is excellent. The staff are all lovely, very attentive, food was amazing. We will definitely be back.

A relaxing place for a meal, nice decor, great menu with good specials, though we've only tried a few things so far, they've all been great and good value. Really nice, friendly staff, who've always got time for you, couldn't be more helpful. Highly recommended.

The food was excellent but it was not our first choice as that was sold out. We were advised that one of the site's choices was one to "die for", unfortunately that was the one that was off, at time we visited. There was no warning when we booked that there might be unavailable items on the excellent menu at the time I reserved our table A part from that a very enjoyable evening., Can't recommend any dishes as none of us had any of those listed below. It was the beef we wanted, and my daughter enjoyed the Salmon

Had a few cocktails with my friend in the Ava last week. We thought the cocktail Bar would be open, but unfortunately it only opens at the weekend.
We had a great night and the cocktails were amazing. The bar staff were very friendly

Mid week dinner with friends. Roast beef with all the trimmings was on the specials and recommended by our waiter and it was superb! Roast potatoes pretty average but the rest was amazing. Great service and pub quiz afterwards wasn't bad. £130 for 6 adults for drinks and a main course meal wasn't bad. Great atmosphere for a midweek night out in Bangor.
