Bought their cheapest set breakfast for £6.50. It came with fried bread but I was asked if I wanted to swap it for toast so I thought that was good customer service but I declined. Nice big, tasty coffee. Sausage could have been a bit more 'meaty'. Cooked to order.

Great time out with the family. About 5 other people in the cafe when we, a group of 8, showed up. Waiter took our orders and food showed up soon enough. Portions were large and food cooked through and tasty. We ordered dessert too and that was tasty and came in good time although one order came slightly later. Toilets are upstairs though so not accessible to wheelchair users. Parking can be found around the cafe, we parked up at the local leisure centre which was about 5 mins walk away. Prices at the cafe were fair considering its location and demographics. We visited during Barking Market day (Tuesday, also on Thurs & Sat) so busy outside but inside it was quieter and a welcome escape from the hustle and bustle outside. It's also about 10mins walk from Barking Station so helpful for those families travelling on tube etc. Staff were friendly (not overly familiar or smiley), professional and got down to serving us with aplomb. Nothing too much for them. One of our party spilt a drink and we had to move tables due to the mess, but we weren't made to feel like we were an inconvenience or silly, floor was mopped, table wiped and back to business as usual. Brilliant service! Really helpful people, thank you for having us!!
I hit this place Friday lunchtime and left impressed. At around 25 covers, larger than average. Clean tables, waitress service. Food arrived quickly, well cooked, and decent portions. Toilet onsite, pay by card - you can't ask for much more. Recommended
Came yesterday had a No 4 breakfast absolutely spot on , they actually cooked the tomatoes through. Service was quick and friendly. We returned today.

Though the customer is not thought about from a noise perspective. Not great to relax during lunch. Between banging plates, clatering knives and forks - totally oblivious to the impact on the customer.

Truly a hidden gem in the Barking area. Highly recommend the Cherry Pancakes if you like rich sweets. The coffee was great, too. The server was polite and the service was quick. If you're in the barking area or are a tourist like me, go here. Excellent breakfast in a cozy diner style environment. GREAT PRICES AND VERY REWARDING.
Fresh food old fashioned service great verity I had a fresh salad with chips so fresh so much on plate presented in a great way .
Only thing is disabled there is a toilet but upstairs so go before x
