Came to the Crown from neighbouring Middleton-in-Tees after having read in our welcome pack at the holiday cottage that they do a good roast, they were not wrong! I had the chicken and my partner had the multi meat option. All meats cooked perfectly! The flavours were lovely, and there was just enough of everything, we went away full. Definitely be interested to see what their Friday and Saturday menus are like.
Dog friendly too which was an added bonus.

I had the buffalo cauliflower and it was lush! Mrs. Had the burger and was not disappointed. Menu a little limited but what they do do the do right! Really nice place xxx

Lovely pub brilliant Sunday lunch and a very light tasty sticky toffee pudding! Very friendly owners and a lovely warm fire on in the dining room will be back many more times!

We came from South Shields for a day out to high force and thought we’d grab some food on the way home. Looked for somewhere local on Google to stop by and thought we’d give this place a go as it looked promising. Not disappointed, Beautiful food and very welcoming. Some of the best pub food we’ve had in a long time. Will definitely recommend this to anyone passing through and we will 100% be coming back next time. Thanks again 😊
