Had a lovely coffee and bakery snack here. The seeded sourdough bread cheese toast was wonderful and chutney amazing! Wish they sold that chutney! The Mezza plate was fresh and a delightful mix of flavors with loads of fresh breads.

I could tell the food here was going to be good because of the continual stream of customers …. window display is so eye-catching too! Garlic focaccia is delicious, Bakewell cake is buttery rich and so tasty. We live nearby so will definitely try more each visit 🌟

I haven't found a better seeded sourdough anywhere, but wish they sold the cheese and jalapeno bread every week.

Gourmet produce, takes Barnard Castle to another level! Great value, considering everything they sell is made in-house, fresh, and top restaurant quality.

Saw this in Living North Magazine and decided to give it a try. Excellent just isn't a good enough word. From the start the window display of breads intices you in. Once inside a menu of savoury bakes, panninis, ciabatta sandwiches, soups and lovely sweet treats await. I opted for a fresh chicken ciabatta and my husband ordered Cream of Leek soup with Mediterranean veg Foccacia for lunch. Everything was absolutely delicious! My sandwich was enormous and full of fresh cooked chicken with salad and red onion chutney: would easily serve 2. Bought cheese scones, fruit scone and enormous sausage roll to take home. This independent bakery is definitely worth a visit if you are in Barnard Castle. And by the way, the goodies brought home were also delicious.

The best brew ever. Even tops starbucks which is usually our fave back home. Had a tiffin. Was nice once I got through chocolate on top . Think the chocolate is too thick on top . Also big slices. Could be smaller . Teeth breaker . Lovely staff serving . Will be back
