Duke Of York - Barnet - Photo album

Excellent food with a great choice offered on a daily menu - I had sausage and mash which was perfect and both the vegetarian curry and chicken burger were delicious. Proper draft available and I preferred the Kodiak to the Side-pocket but both were too easy to drink. Hot drink and a choice of 3 min
I came after a late night at work and strolled through the front door with just minutes to spare before the kitchen closed. The hostess still happily greeted me and got me a table and told me that if I ordered right away I would be able to get some food. I ordered the Buttermilk Fried Chicken Burger
The food was really good, I loved the garlic bread. Services was ok, I can't complain just felt a bit under staff, we need the waitress a couple of times and we had to wait a bit. A bit expensive but with this price increase it is difficult everywhere it is difficult to say. In general good experi
Found on Google Maps when looking for a real ale pub close to M25. Duke of York was a very short diversion from Junction 23 on M25 on the Old Barnet Road at around 2.5 miles. Bars were very light and a lovely real fire burned in the grate. We arrived about 2.30 and served by the very pleasant bar
The pub is beautiful inside, with a lovely open fire. The servers are also brilliant and friendly. However, they were playing the radio with awful music. I would recommend that this place play some nice gentle classical music or jazz, because the radio pop music is really off-putting. We are regula
Wonderful . Perfect for summer outside eating too. Great location great food wonderful staff
Staff very pleasant and helpful. Not too in your face. Went for Sunday lunch. Good sized portion for the hungry diner. Good selection of veg. On the list for somewhere good to go. Added extra, lots of parking with reserved spaces for elderly/disabled.
Went for a drink and stayed for dinner! We visited on a Saturday around 4:30pm and sat outside on the patio. The patio is covered and had heaters and blankets which were very welcome. We liked the look of the menu so ordered food. We did have to wait almost an hour for the food to arrive. The food w
Revisited this pub today having previously gone a few years ago! They have now got loads more vegan options now! I enjoyed a vegan sweet potato and aubergine curry and my husband had a vegan meatless burger with vegan cheese and chips! The pimms cocktails were great with lots of fresh fruit! Would h
Great pub, beer and food. Will definitely be back!
Great food, great customer service and to top it off they are very dog friendly. I’ve been here a few times and the food is always great and they have a very cosy interior. I’ve always sat indoors and they sometimes give doggy treats to our dog which is a very sweet gesture. The pub can be busy s
The Duke of York pub in Potters Bar is a delightful local spot that offers a pleasant atmosphere, delicious food, and a spacious beer garden. The highlight is undoubtedly the expansive beer garden, providing ample shade and a great place to enjoy a meal or drinks outdoors. The menu features tasty op
A very nice pub for lunch, wonderful food. Great service from friendly staff. Customer toilets and large car park. Outdoor eating area, some undercover. Very spacious inside.
Took daughter there for birthday, coffee in gazebo then meal in restaurant. Absolutely perfect! Food, atmosphere and service all excellent. Staff always very helpful, even anticipating questions, but no hassling or pressure, which often does happen elsewhere and is a real spoiler. Recommended in eve
Very nice staff and amazing food.

Lovely pub. COVID compliant and very clean. Service was excellent, food was superb and the atmosphere was perfect. It’s an easy stop right off the M25 for a nice lunch. If it’s a beautiful at would definitely suggest having a eat in the garden.
Lovely Sunday roast and great service. It's busy, so you need to book on Sunday. Despite being busy it feels relaxed and nobody rushed you. Kids menu too. Large portions. Only slight criticism is lack of variety of veg. It come with roasties, carrots and cabbage. But you can order cauli cheese on
