Always come to Tops for takeaway and each time the service is helpful and kind. We don’t have to wait too long for our haddock to be cooked fresh. The chips were delicious as well as the fish. Will for sure come again!

Very friendly and helpful staff. They were really polite especially the waitress and also the food was delicious. One of the best fish and chips shops in town. Definitely recommend for everyone to go and try it out. Had the best experience there!!!

We travel from Tottenham for our weekly fish and chip lunch/supper. I highly recommend their cod its tasty, with a crisp crunchy batter that a drizzle of fresh lemon is like a cherry on top. Chocolate fudge cake warmed is also delicious washed down with a cuppa that they also seem to make very well! Well done guys as always

A traditional fish and chips shop in the heart of East Barnet Village. Mainly takeaway but have a handful of tables.
It was recommended to me by a friend, and even though I drive past nearly every day I've never been in.
After walking in and seeing there were no fish ready on display, it actually reassured me that the cod I'd be ordering would be fresh.
The best cod and chips I've had in a while. Crispy and fresh.

Used in the past pre Covid but then they stopped delivery. Have used them again via Deliveroo and realise what we have missed! Beautifully cooked fish and chips and have renewed ordering. Recommended!

I've been going here since I was around 10 years old with my parents, 25 years ago. Quality, food, service and atmosphere has never wavered. Always 5 stars. We have moved 30 miles away and still drive down just to get our ribs and chips from tops. No one else comes close!

Great little F&C take away. Fish is fresh, chips are great and they are always friendly.
They also make a GREAT rice pudding!
Street parking is only available after 7pm
They do delivery too.

The best Fish and Chip Shop .I have ever eaten in very clean . Hospitality is Extremely Excellent. Staff are very helpful and bubbly i food freshly cooked while you wait. The occasional queue at the entrance is indicative of diners willingness to wait for a table. A bit of a squeeze inside but once seated the delicious fresh fish is always well worth waiting for. Very ample portions from a good team overseen by one of the owner brothers who keeps his hand in and gets directly involved from market buying to serving and always happy to talk football with anyone - especially Gunners supporters! The food is delicious too.

Delicious chips, fried fish, and grilled fish options. Nice decor, good seating, and excellent staff. Eat-in prices are hefty but takeaway is cheap.
I wish they offered charcoal-grilled fish as well.

I have been visiting this Fish and chip shop for years now. Over time it is easy to forget how good it is. On occasion when I happen to be somewhere else and buy fish and chips then I rediscover how good in comparison my local chip shop is. I cannot vouch for the rest of their food as I have not ever tried it but I can honestly say that I have not had traditional fried battered cod as fresh and as delicious as this anywhere else.
