Amazing selection of authentic Italian products, with fresh food and a cafe with Italian coffee and handmade pastries, desserts and sandwiches.
They have seasonal products like colomba, panettone, pandoro and easter eggs.
The staff are lovely and helpful. They’re happy to answer any questions about the products and offer recommendations.
I always leave with a selection of interesting pasta, fresh made arancini and pastries. Definitely worth a visit.

An absolute gem in Barnet. Wonderful lunchtime ciabatta, and the coffee is spot on too. If you really want to raise your home cooking game, try some of the high quality deli produce… you will never go back to supermarket mediocrity - I promise. Best wishes, Bee 🐝

Whether you want to sit in over a coffee, a light lunch or buy Italian groceries, Deli Italiano is worth a try if in New Barnet. They also do take out.
Small but compact with a good stock. Sadly, the cafe area has a step, so is not wheelchair accessible.
You may have to wait a while but there is plenty to look at as you do so.
Rather quaintly, they have painted a bicycle in Italian colours and hung it up on the name board outside.
Best of all they sell mini amaretti. I'm a teddy bear that loves amaretti. And the mini ones are just my size! 🐻

Damiano’s deli is a little bit of Italian heaven in New Barnet. We ordered a meat and cheese platter for a lockdown lunch in the garden...buonissimo!
