My family & I have been massive fans of the Cardamom Lounge ever since they came up on my FYP on TTok. Having been based in SW London and coming from a family of avid cooks (myself included) visiting them in Barnsley was always on our minds. We finally got the chance to visit and upon entering the restaurant, Abz and his team, Imran (Restaurant Mngr) all front of house and of course the chef Mama (as he’s lovingly called by the team) went above and beyond to make sure our visit was an experience to remember. We ordered a bit of everything, and by far the best Asian Fusion we have come across, including the house specials and their general menu. If you’re travelling up north, I would highly recommend you add this restaurant to your itinerary! We would personally visit again, for not only the food (which we cannot fault) but also the warm, and generous Desi hospitality. Sincerely hoping the Cardamom lounge expands and opens up in London, we will for sure be regulars!

Staff are lovely, restaurant looks very nice. I ordered prawn karahi, the flavour is really good however the curry is full with onions, not much curry/lots of big pieces of onions… Next time I order will ask for less, apart from that/really good:)

I have just been here with my friend of neville avenue sir Dave Johnson. I enjoyed every last bit and couldnt think of a negative thing to say. My freind sir johnson on the other hand felt violated by the price point as your competitors offer a lot more, for a lot less. In his words of corse. And something about his naan bread felt like a pizza base. I wouldnt know, i was too busy tucking into my onion barji and watching the darts! 180

We ordered from here for first time in a while it was amazing food can’t fault that at all however, we spent 33 quid for 2 people on this takeaway and the naan bread was soo small (you’d need two of them) and the curry was not really full of chicken or potatoes as you’d expect for 10 pound a curry

From the moment you step in the ambiance is inviting with elegant decor and a warm atmosphere. The dinner was delicious, served hot, and arrived on time. The menu offers a delicious selection of foods that are all well prepared and infused with real flavours. Whether you enjoy eating traditional Indian food or are looking to try something different. The friendly staff complements the whole experience. Very good manners and very respectful. Abz was a gentleman and really respectful while taking our order. took our order, and ten minutes later the food was on the table. Excellent service! Would definitely recommend this place to all friends and family!!

We travelled from Rotherham just for a change of takeaway. Oh man it was worth the journey 😜 Amazing tasty food plus excellent polite staff. Everyone should give this quality place a try . We will be back for sure. It's cash only btw and bring your alcohol Kes curry was fantastic 😍
