So me and the lads from the local footie team have come down to the cardamon lounge.
They have a great menu and lovely food.
I had a madras pilau rice and a nan bread and the food is to die for.
There hospitality is amazing and so good with customers requests very attentive.
We are gonna make this a regular thing coming here.
Had a great night and a good laugh.

Very friendly atmosphere. Food was spot on. Everything tasted awesome. Couldn't fault it. The garlic fusion dish was very very tasty. Will definitely be going back.

We have been coming to the cardamom for at least 6 years and it has never disappointed. Excellent food, excellent staff who can't do enough to help. I will always recommend this place to friends and family and will never ever go to another indian!
We came for a meal at the Cardamom Lounge for my mum's 60th and I'm so glad we did. The food was beautiful and there was plenty to choose from on the menu, and the prices were very reasonable too. The staff couldn't have been more pleasant and welcoming, my 4 y/o daughter started to get a bit restless towards the end of the meal and the waiters kept her entertained and even gave her a lollypop! There's a great atmosphere and we will definatley be returning, thankyou Cardamom Lounge for the great hospitality!

Nawabi curry with Garlic Naan bread was fabulous. The Biryani Lamb were perfectly cooked and spiced and Vge sauce was amazing . Worth to visit ..highly recommended

Food fantastic as usual, service very welcoming, friendly and efficient. Sorted my brothers gluten allergy brilliantly ensuring all dishes were safe with no contamination. Overall 5/5, best Indian restaurant I’ve ever been to.

I ordered prawn karahi, the flavour is really good however the curry is full with onions, not much curry/lots of big pieces of onions…

My family & I have been massive fans of the Cardamom Lounge ever since they came up on my FYP on TTok. Having been based in SW London and coming from a family of avid cooks (myself included) visiting them in Barnsley was always on our minds. We finally got the chance to visit and upon entering the restaurant, Abz and his team, Imran (Restaurant Mngr) all front of house and of course the chef Mama (as he’s lovingly called by the team) went above and beyond to make sure our visit was an experience to remember.
We ordered a bit of everything, and by far the best Asian Fusion we have come across, including the house specials and their general menu.
If you’re travelling up north, I would highly recommend you add this restaurant to your itinerary! We would personally visit again, for not only the food (which we cannot fault) but also the warm, and generous Desi hospitality.
Sincerely hoping the Cardamom lounge expands and opens up in London, we will for sure be regulars!
Absolutely beautiful cheeky date night. Always usually have take away food from cardamon but it actually tastes so much better inside the restaurant!
Such fragrant food, infused with all sorts of spices and herbs. Such a lovely chilled atmosphere. Staff are so attentive and friendly. Lovely ans local too.

Our first time trying last night and we will be using cardamom lounge for any future indian food orders, the service and quality and flavour of the food was absolutely phenomenal, so fresh and well prepared so thank you and we look forward to next time!
Went here for my wife's birthday this evening. It was a quite night which we didn't mind. I saw this place on tik tock and I just had to try it. The chicken nambali was full of flavour and the 2 curries we had. The coal miner special and the garlic special the sauces were amazing and both were memorable dishes. Service was very attentive. If your local you'll be silly not to try it.

Great curry, busy atmosphere, clean & modern and great value for money.
Came for a curry here with a friend. Was easy to book a table on the saturday for a table of two. On arrival it was very busy and it was quite loud which made it hard to hear each other at times.
Due to business it took a bit of time for our order to be taken but after around 15 minutes this was done. It is one of those Indian Restaurants where you bring your own alcohol and I didn't know this in advanced. When ordering food we need to ask them if they could provide drinks which they could - soft drinks only. I'd have liked to have been asked if we would have liked a drink and think this should be common practice in any restaurant. Customer service was fine but I wouldn't go further than that, I imagine the staff were busy and overworked but would have been nice to have had an upbeat service with a smile approach.
Poppadoms took around 10 mins to come out and then about 15 mins after they were collected the starters came out. I had the stuffed pepper which wasn't flavourful enough for my pallet - would have liked it a bit spicier but it was nice and really well presented.
The curry was absolutely amazing and really flavourful. My friend said it was the best Jalfrezi he had had in his life and my vindaloo was really good too.
For me I would come again but maybe on a week day when less busy as I like to be able to talk at the table and we found it really difficult on the Saturday night. For 5 stars I'd say the customer service just needs to be that little bit better.

I have just been here with my friend of neville avenue sir Dave Johnson. I enjoyed every last bit and couldnt think of a negative thing to say. My freind sir johnson on the other hand felt violated by the price point as your competitors offer a lot more, for a lot less. In his words of corse. And something about his naan bread felt like a pizza base. I wouldnt know, i was too busy tucking into my onion barji and watching the darts! 180

Fantastic meal at the Cardamom lounge, Great food, setting and the cheesecake was amazing. the lads really go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and help with choosing dishes. nothing is too much trouble!
We ordered from here for first time in a while it was amazing food can’t fault that at all however, we spent 33 quid for 2 people on this takeaway and the naan bread was soo small (you’d need two of them) and the curry was not really full of chicken or potatoes as you’d expect for 10 pound a curry
Did christmas day 4 o'clock sitting. Cannot fault it. Staff hard working and very friendly. Did me an off menu keema curry hot. Father Christmas running about. Good laugh all round. This is fith christmas dinner for us. Booking again for next year
