Always a treat to pop to May's. Have sampled other Thai meals when out and about but always choose to make a trip over to May's for a takeaway. Great to have tofu available for all dishes!
Absolutely fantastic. My new favourite place to eat within the local area. Fresh, high quality food cooked quickly. Big portion of chicken noodle sukhothai for a great price. Plenty of room to park and will be going again.
Everything was perfect. Please note all curries come with rice, I wasn't told this when ordering and ordered another 3 portions for no reason.
delicious food and very friendly, the best takeaway food in the area for sure.
I have loved May's for 10+ years. Even though I now live 155 miles away, whenever I am up in Barnsley to visit family I'm immediately there stocking up on orders.
Honestly the best thai food I've ever had and competes with any restaurant. Such a great selection and truly authentic all around.
Great Thai food at great prices. Always beautiful flavours at what looks like a traditional cafe, and they do sell traditional fry ups! They are also open traditional cafe hours too, so you can't go for an evening meal unfortunately. Drinks are cafe style too, tea, coffee and pop.
My first time having Japanese takeaway, tried it as my daughter wanted katsu chicken curry. I had pad Thai and it was gorgeous, we will defietly be back
This place has become so disappointingly hit and miss. Sometimes the food is absolutely beautiful, fresh and tasty. Sometimes it's overcooked, soggy, lacks a substantial amount of vegetables and appears to have too much soya or seafood sauce. Maybe this depends on who's cooking? Portions are always good but I've found my food is usually not as fresh tasting in the plastic containers. The cardboard containers are much better but are not always used.
Prices seem to fluctuate depending on who answers the phone.
I used to absolutely love this place, but I think it may be time to move on as the standard of food just isn't consistent anymore. I also find it absolutely ridiculous that you cannot pay a little extra to have egg fried rice instead of boiled and a fried egg. They charge the full price it would be to buy egg fried rice separate.

Superb food at a great price. Very flavoursome and decent portions. Only bad thing is it's so popular so had to eat in car. 175 miles from home but I'd like to go again.
Lively small business with great food. The staff couldn't do enough and altered dishes to be gluten free and vegan. Highly recommend.
