We were made to feel welcome, people were friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

We stumbled upon this pub after a visit to Cannon Hall farm, and so pleased we did.
Only dropped a point on atmosphere, because it was a quiet Monday lunchtime.
There were five of us adults plus our grandson and we all thoroughly enjoyed the food we ordered.
Definitely my type of pub, it had character, and that young lady behind the bar was so friendly and attentive.
Beer, wine and cider prices well under the price of our local.
We would return if it was a little closer to our home, but unfortunately it isn’t, however, when we next venture to Cannon Hall farm, we will return

Came mid afternoon for a late lunch so pub was quiet but soon got busy. We both had gammon which was lovely and tender and the chips were spot on. Lovely hot food too. Nice friendly service.
