We recently ate Sunday lunch at The Boot and I have to say that the roast pork was one of the best I’ve had in many a meal. The service was really good and will be going back to try the rest of the menu. Congratulations.
I didn't stay in a room. But had the beef wellington. Amazing flavour. Perfectly cooked beef. And the boot shaped pastry cut-out to top it off was a nice touch. It was clear they take pride in the dish.
The menu says it serves 2 but the portions could have served 3 adults.

Recently had dinner at The Boot while visiting the Cotswolds and had a great experience. The atmosphere of the restaurant is so cozy and the food was delicious. My wife and I split the beef wellington and it was delicious. If you are near Barnsley you should consider having a meal at The Boot!
Food was great. My family and I dined here twice over the weekend and between us we had the majority of the menu. All the courses were exceptional. Price is very reasonable for the quality. Lovely location. Staff were all very nice and service was great.

Stopped for lunch having heard lots about this place. Wonderful! Elevated pub food with great service. Charming place. Prices also surprisingly reasonable given the locale and standard.
Great cosy pub, fantastic staff and tasty food. Organic pale ale is a winner too, had 3 and didn’t have a headache in the morning.

Quiet Cotswolds pub in a beautiful village approx mid way between Cirencester and Burford. Well worth a visit, because the place is a cracker!

Went on a Saturday evening and can't rate it highly enough. Arrived for 6pm and had a high back velvet chair that was the best thing to unwind in and enjoy the food.
Went for Salmon starter, Venison Pie for main and amaretto pudding for dessert.
All were superb but the Pie was another level good.
