A friendly and characterful pub perfect for a post-run pint. The sort of countryside pub you imagine, with nice real ales and sleeping spaniels (although disappointingly, no Examples of the eponymous reed)

We went on a Wednesday for Steak night the good was fantastic and also the service including to our dog who was brought fresh water with our own drinks. Highly recomend

Went for a meal with friends whilst on holiday back home in Devon, service was really friendly and the food was outstanding. Thoroughly enjoyed our meals and would definitely go back when next visiting home again!!!

Fabulous pub! We went there for the first time for our anniversary last week and the service was quick and very good even though they were very busy. The menu was original and extensive and the food was well cooked, plentiful and very delicious. The decor is amazing and the pub has a friendly welcoming atmosphere. Will definitely go again soon.
