Having had problems buying a T-Roc from another vw dealership, I found another T-Roc on the Marshall vw website. Having spoken to Richard who was very helpful and understanding to the problems I had at the other dealership, Richard got my wife and I in the car she wanted. The vehicle was in brilliant condition and they couldn’t have be more helpful! Great experience. Highly recommend

I've just bought my 2nd car from Luke Seddon in Marshalls Barnstaple and I'm very happy with the car and service I received. Throughout, Luke was extremely helpful, friendly, professional and never pushy. He kept me in the loop throughout, made sure all the financial part went smoothly and went that extra mile. I cannot recommend him and this garage enough.

This review is about Marshalls Service Department only. (not Skoda Sales, which was, from our personal experience, dissapointing) We have always been treated with respect & courtesy by the Service Team, and not a fawning, false courtesy either, genuine people who are, well, nice. Our Skoda Kodiaq was in for its 1st oil service & check: the Reception lady had everything arranged and we returned 2 hours later to find the car all ready but for the paperwork, which Marc was completing. He came to the comfy sofa where we waited & explained everything about what the workshop had done & found. All was well & after some pleasant conversation, including where our car was parked, we left. When we found the car, it was shiny clean, in and out, after a complimentary valet. Wow, that's service. 5 stars well deserved, in fact, I'd say; old fashioned courteous service from a thoroughly modern and efficient company. Well done all.

Greeted by helpful lady on reception. Told our sales person was with a customer.. so offered a excellent hot chocolate 🫕.. Then Josh came to see us.. about our new TIGUAN.. should be with us in the next 4/5 weeks.. Very good service nothing was to much Trouble. Finanaced our new approved used car from VW back in May 2022, from the moment we walked in the door we felt so welcome & understood, we told them our budget & they worked with us to make a decision. It was our first time taking out a pcp finance they where very open & explained how everything would work. Very impressed with Luke, He seemed like he took a genuine interest in how we felt about everything from start to finish and even kept in contact for the next few weeks to make sure we had no concerns. We drove away very happy!

Barnstaple Volkswagen are truly brilliant, and go above and beyond to help their customers! I recently took in my used VW (which I purchased at a different dealer, not locally) for a service, and they carried this out quickly but also identified lots of problems with it which they looked into for me. Unfortunately the costs to fix them meant it was better to look into buying a new approved used car, so I have dealt with both their service and sales teams who have been incredibly helpful. Not pushy at all, very knowledgeable and reassuring. A special thanks to Carl who spent a lot of time with me trying to find a suitable car, and although the original dealer are now fixing this, I am so grateful for his time. Thank you so much, I will be bringing my new car to you!!
