Bosuns Locker Cafe - Barrow-in-Furness - Photo album

Excellent food. Large portions, well cooked and very reasonably priced. So sad the current owners are moving on.
The place was packed when we arrived, obviously a very popular place! We had to wait for about 10 minutes before being seated. We waited just over 40 minutes for our afternoon tea which was booked and pre ordered but once service began it was good. The food was delicious and there was no pressure to
Having a long busy day ahead I decided to stoke up with a cooked breakfast, the B&B I stayed at in Barrow having provided a toast & Variety pack type breakfast. I had heard rumours of great cooking at Bosun's Locker and I wasn't disappointed. Will go again if I am in the area
Yummy afternoon tea at £8 per person, freshly cooked and prepared food ( vegetarian option available) and friendly staff, if You can't eat everything, the staff box it up for You to take away with You.
Looking for a dog friendly cafe in the Furness area and we stuck gold we were just going for a snack but when we saw the freshly home cooked meals coming out we quickly chose to have a meal each and we were not disappointed I had lamb and Anne had BBQ pork and they were both fantastic we also got
Tasty home-made hearty meals from a varied menu with lots of choices. The giant Yorkshire was great. Service was good but a little inattentive at times. Had to remind the servers to bring the sides we ordered. Very cramped tables and chairs so a bit challenging for older folks or with kids. Overall
Amazing food for a very low price. £17.20 for everything in the three pictures. That includes the tea, coffee and coke.
Fantastic piping hot food, we are definitely coming back
The food is excellent, good tasty home cooked meals. Good value for money and you get a nice plateful. The young staff are very welcoming and polite. I would book ahead for a table as it’s very popular. Definitely somewhere I would return to.
Lovely little cafe /Ice cream bar situated on the gorgeous rampside looking out towards PIEL CASTLE and the LIFE BOAT STATION. lovely staff, ample parking (although understandably gets busy), great place to park up, walk and picnic and just chill and enjoy the views. Has it all surrounding it , boat
Book in here asap before it closes! Don't miss this treat. The scones are worth going for alone!!!
We called in on spec and managed to take the only table that wasn't reserved. We now understand why so many customers felt the need to book. The whole experience was out of the top drawer. Excellent choice offered at incredible value. Portions were generous and the quality was superb. Couple that wi
Highly recommend this place. Visited on Friday, didn't book a table but managed to get one as it was about 2pm. The food coming out of the kitchen looked good, I decided on the liver with creamy mash, so tasty and a lovely selection of vegetables, a great choice. My sister had the Scampi with chips
Popular homely cafe. Great food, nice prices. Here they serve a good menu selection in a friendly environment. The staff are happy to help with orders and drinks etc. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.
Excellent home cooked food at extremely reasonable prices, huge portions. Home made cake to die for. Place is basic but very clean. Really is a little gem of a place, love going here. Quality of food is way beyond price charged. Don't expect luxurious surroundings but does what it does brilliantly.
We always enjoy visiting The Bosun's Locker where a warm welcome is always assured. Our grandchildren tucked into their meals of choice with enthusiasm, and were very happy to colour in, with materials supplied by the cafe. Michael was elated with his plate of Liver and Onions, accompanied by mashed
The food was excellent and great value for money. The staff were also very nice.
