Sunday morning breakfast, couldn't have been better. Really friendly service, checked that my partner's request for gluten free bread was available. Lovely surroundings and the food was quick to arrive, really hot and very tasty.

Have not been here for a few years but its changed considerably. The decor is beautiful and service superb. The young lady and gentlemen who were in attendance were welcoming and prompt with menus and drinks. It was Sunday so a limited menu was on offer but there was sufficient choice.for all tastes. The food took a little while to arrive and the portion size was generous to say the least. The food was well cooked and presented well. I could not finish my meal and neither could my companions. Prices are reasonably so if in the area it us well worth visiting you will not be disappointed.

The food I had was nice but they took so long to bring out other people's food that I had finished my main course before my wife's arrived.

I have loved the custom house in the past but this last time we went it wasnt great. The service was very slow and our sticky toffee puddings were burnt and claggy. Was very happy the new menu has been brought back and hope it goes back to it's good standards in the future.

It’s a hard 1 and I really don’t like to give a low feedback when I think the staff are so lovely and kind, I love what the new owner is doing with the place and it all seems/looks amazing. However I have visited 3 times and the food is just not up to scratch it’s tasteless, it’s only down to the chef, perhaps I have just ordered the wrong thing but it was the penne custom house I was excited to be back on the menu and when it came out so tasteless I was so disappointed I added a lot of extra salt myself but it’s just not quite the same now. Shame :(
