Had the lamb vindaloo and cheese naan. I thought cheese naan might have cheese stuffed inside or something but it was just a bit on the outside. Could have been seasoned better too. The lamb vindaloo was very good but could have done with more meat. Good overall but if prices were a touch lower (particularly the naan) it would be more competitive (£11, £7.50 curry and £3.50 naan). Tandoori chicken masala is good.

5/5... massive portions. Polite delivery driver. Food was very very nice! Had the madras gf had tikka. Would recommend this takeaway over the only other one the town seems to have (Barrow spice) any day. Price is higher on average but the portions and the amount of meat is well worth It! Oh and thanks for the freebies you send... much appreciated. We will be back!!

Upon calling this establishment, I was greeted by a well-spoken young lady. I deliberately missed details from my order and was given options to complete it. I ordered a portion of papadums with all sides and condiments, onion bhajis, chicken vindaloo, mushroom pilau rice and a cheesy garlic coriander naan bread. I was promised that my order would be delivered by 10:30, which was delivered at 2145. My review of the experience is as follows. Papadums – Crispy, fresh and cooked in oil. Not greasy Condiments – Onions – well made, marinated Yoghurt mint – extra given. Light. Well balanced Mango chutney – standard, acidic as expected Hot – Gentle and sweet Salad – Fresh with lemon wedge Bhaji – lightly seasoned. Cooked well Naan -perfect Rice – excellent Vindaloo heat – Madras at most, lightly spiced Vindaloo flavour – Tasted authentic, lacked depth and potatoes Chicken – Reheated but bearable. Plenty of it Overall Taste - 3/5 stars. Reason being insufficient amount of heat and spices Complexity - 3/5 stars. Reason being bhaji, naan and condiments were okay Value - 5/5 stars. Reason being all cost less than £20 Would I recommend? Yes, for those who like curry, no for connoisseurs How do I compare against my local curry house? No serious complaints

My absolutely favourite takeaway for over 20 years. The food is always amazing. I’ve tried other Indian takeaways on Mondays when Iesha’s is closed, but none have come anywhere near. Iesha’s are the best! 👌
