We were lucky enough to have the entirety of The Weeping Willow for our wedding on May 4th. I can quite honestly say that this pub has just got ‘IT’- the service, the food, the setting, and the atmosphere is just so incredibly perfect. We were SO well looked after by Paula, Martin, Nick and their wonderful team of staff. I can not recommend this place highly enough- whether it’s for a drink in their beautiful garden, or a meal in their incredible Raspberry Room; we are so lucky to have it as a local! Suffolk residents should be banging the door down to eat here, it’s truly a very special place. Thank you all for giving us the most beautiful day of our lives. X

I ate here for the first time on my birthday. We were treated brilliantly from start to finish, the staff were all very polite and attentive. We were sat at the chefs table which was brilliant, the chefs all spoke to us and let us try different foods, whilst we watched them prepare the food. Talking about the food, it is delicious, I would go as far as saying that it is my new favourite place to eat in and around bury, the food combined with the staff and the beautiful building, really gives this place the edge over other restaurants around here. I will be going back as soon as possible!

Saturday evening here for my wife’s birthday. Lovely atmosphere and mix of beams and modern building. Sat in the bar area for a drink before the meal on sofas. Busy restaurant and open kitchen area which was really buzzing. Food was terrific. Steak for me, fish and chips for my wife. Staff were friendly despite being so busy. Thanks for letting us stay in the bar after our meal as we don’t get out often. Would definitely recommend to others and will return.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at the Weeping Willow. The staff were wonderful. Our room was comfortable. The dinner and breakfast were really good. Two minor downsides. First, the hot tub takes a lot longer to heat up than suggested. The helpful lady who took us to our room thought it would take an hour. It took almost two hours. The ground lighting from the restaurant area to the cabins would benefit from improvement. Those comments aside, we really enjoyed every aspect of our stay.

We had a wonderful 2 night stay and were very impressed with the new lodges. Breakfast was absolutely perfect and we enjoyed an eve meal too. A bit pricey but it was a special treat and we certainly enjoyed it. A special mention to the lovely staff. Everyone was friendly and happy. The waitressing team, cooks, cleaner, the lad watering the plants, everyone spoke and were very pleasant and made our stay a really enjoyable one. We felt looked after and will definitely return to the Weeping Willow. A quick mention we took our dog too. Even he was was looked after with a bed, bowl and a ball. The whole pub is dog friendly which is what we wanted.

The old coaching house frontage hides a surprisingly spacious and modern 'glasshouse' conversion to the rear with an open kitchen behind a long service counter. We were sat near the chefs with two young boys who were fascinated to watch and we were able to ask for recommendations off the menu direct from the kitchen! Service was fast and friendly. Chicken croquettes and chicken schnitzel were very good and the kids pasta was a good portion. Overall very nice atmosphere and tasty food.

A very nice evening, thank you. You took on board my special request and I appreciate that. My only criticism is, as usual a sharper knife would have been welcome as the barely cooked Chard took a bit of cutting but other than that small thing - we’ll done.

A great venue with delicious food. Always a great service and wish we had another of those closer to where we live but the travel is always worth it. A treat!

We were staying at a nearby campsite & this was recommended to us by the owners. Lovely meal, good atmosphere & friendly staff. My Husband only had 1 slice of roast beef, that is our only criticism.

We had large family meal for 11 in the raspberry room. Staff were friendly and efficient. Food was excellent, we had a mix of starters, mains & desserts, all of which looked and tasted great. Overall experience was very good & would definitely recommend.
