I have visited twice in the last couple of weeks due to the British Textile Biennial. Once was to see an installation in the medieval cruck and the second time to attend a workshop. Both times I took advantage of the beautiful cafe and gardens and the cheapest parking around.

Great tour of The Pendle Witches from the centre. Lovely meal. Lovely place to visit. Parking cheap enough over the road if no spaces on the road. Its not surfaced but it is convenient.

An absolutely gorgeous place, beautiful gardens; a gorgeous old house. Everything carefully looked after and restored with care and a good historical eye. The cafe was lovely, delicious toasty- cheese and onion, you can even get a cheesy bean toasty too!! They have so many great events there. It’s just so calming and peaceful too. Please visit you’ll love it.

Enjoyed a delicious home made scone and a pot of tea in the cafe. The meals, others were having, looked very appetising

Lovely afternoon at the heritage centre. Fascinating historical buildings, gardens, books to discover and gifts, followed by an excellent meal in the restaurant! Highly recommended!

Great small museum, with plenty of information and interesting artefacts, including the story of the Pendle Witches. And a beautiful garden.
The staff were friendly. The price was reasonable. Parking is just across the road, which you pay when you're leaving.
The cafe had lovely food , and was reasonably priced.
Definitely recommend a visit!

I visited here with my partner whilst passing through Pendle. An interesting little place and very informative about the Pendle witches 🧙♀️. Pleasant staff, small but cute little gift shop at reasonable prices, beautiful outdoor surroundings & a lovely little cafe on site. Worth a visiting if passing or not too far but I’m not sure it’s worth a long drive for.
