Lovely food and good value for money. April and her team do a good job and provide a great service. A shame that they don't do Tea Pot's anymore since Covid, always enjoyed a lovely pot of tea. Well worth a visit and of course the place is pet friendly.

Enjoyed a lovely vegetarian breakfast and lovely big mug of tea this morning. It was delicious! My partner enjoyed the vegan breakfast. Food was very reasonably priced, good quality and well cooked. The staff were absolutely lovely! So chatty and friendly. We loved the whole experience. Best of all, our dog had the yummiest frozen yoghurt for dogs and was a very happy pooch! Will definitely visit again when we are next in Barry.

Called in this afternoon with 5 papillon for 2 full breakfasts and some sausages for the dogs. What a lovely welcome. Before taking our order the staff came over with a fresh bowl of water and gave them all a fuss. The food was fantastic. It was our first visit to Barry and really enjoyed our day out and the K9 cafe was the icing on cake. Thank you

Really nice cafe, had 4 dogs with us and it started raining so was a life saver. Staff were very friendly and gave the dogs towels and blankets. I had a lasagne and it wasn't very nice unfortunately however everyone else enjoyed there food and though it was lovely. It is good value for money. They also had a separate menu for the dogs wich was nice.

Interesting dog theme, great for dog lovers with dogs. Service was a little hap hazard and I think there may have been some staffing issues, there was a wee bit of a wait for food. Sandwich was lovely and coleslaw was also good. Think we went on a bad day. The cooked breakfast looked lovely 😍

This is our go-to cafe when we visit. All food is always cooked freshly, definitely worth the value prices. Friendly, warm atmosphere, stunning views and extremely friendly staff! Doggy friendly to with their own menu.

What a cracker, inexpensive and so tasty in the middle of Gavin and Stacey land. I am a huge fan of Gavin and Stacey, that's why we were there, but I'm not stupid. I won't pay £5.80 for a bacon butty at the place Stacey was supposed to work at, when I can get a fabulous full breakfast at K9 plus 1 Cafe for £6.50. If you visit Barry Island and want a cracker of a breakfast, then go to K9 plus 1 Cafe.

We love coming here and have been since we got our dog 2 1/2 years ago. It's a small cafe, but what they lack in space, is more than made up for in friendliness and lovely home made cakes and lush coffee. It can get busy, but please don't let this put you off. If you have a dog, you have to try their peanut butter dog biscuits too!

K9 plus 1 hosted my sister's dog's birthday party (yes, we're a very extra family) and they were so patient even when dogs spilled things over and barked incessantly. Thanks so much k9 plus 1! I'll be back with my dogs again.
