Originally a 5 star review: "Excellent fish and chips, and pies, and fishcakes and sausages, and curry sauce, and, and... just all really really nice. Best in the area by a country mile." Until a change of hands in 2021, it went to 3: "It remains to be seen if the quality of both product and service can be attained and maintained. First visits presented unfortunate experiences with over charging and a standard of food not quite up to scratch. Hopefully things will bed in quickly, and return visits will encourage another edit of this review." Edit, October 2023... On track by the tracks; this chippy is spot on again! Lush fish, great chips, and an adventurous selection of sauces for the latter. Getting a parking space is a bit of pot luck, but that's just indicative of the popularity. Nice work Farnhams folk 👌🏻

(updated review) Lovely fish cooked to order, chips great. Uniformity that I mentioned previously now fixed, everyone offered lemon with fish 😊 Only thing I would say is that it can get very busy and popular at peak times, so be prepared for this, as the fish is done to order. Doesn't bother me, but worth noting if you are in a rush.
