Brilliant. We arrived to our reservation table with a high chair and kids drawing utilities ready for us. Been here a few times but never fails to amaze me how delicious the food is. Vegetarian & Vegan options are available for a lot of the dishes on the menu, perfect for anyone with those dietary requirements. Would've left a review months ago but the main reason I'm doing it today is: Melinda. She was our waitress for the evening and she was absolutely phenomenal! Super friendly, warm, catering and quick. Atmosphere nice as per usual and service excellent. Definitely recommend this exact branch!

We had a good experience at this Frankie and Benny's. The food was delicious with generous portion sizes. The customer service was also very good. Bit on the pricey side but a good dining out experience.

Came in for a dinner date on Saturday night. We were served by Renata, and she was super friendly and polite and made our experience a fantastic one!
The food was delicious and really filling. Super impressed and will definitely be back here again soon for another meal! Love the fact that they also a 20% Blue Light Card discount 💕

Very nice, we took my grandson there, who is vegetarian and 9 years of age. Plenty of choice for him. Food nice and hot. Although they were short staffed and there was a very awkward family next to us, the waitress was efficient, kept smiling and courteous. We tipped accordingly, she deserved every penny. This was the Basildon, festival leisure park restaurant.

Amazing service here today! We had a miscommunication about the food linked to an allergy requirement, but our waitress and the supervisor here were so helpful, understanding and apologetic. Thank you so much for the discount , although we didn’t expect it, we really appreciate it. :) And also Chloe please don’t feel bad, these things happen so please don’t worry about it!!

Unfortunately Frankie and Benny’s at Ilford closed down so we came here with family, the food and service was great. The food filled us up and was delicious. We ordered the platter and I ordered the steak and chips, the steak was cooked to perfection. The pesto pasta was also good.
Highly recommend going to the Basildon branch.

More of a modern feel then other Frankie's and bennys I've previously been too, was was delicious . Had lasagne, which was piping hot!' had the bbq banquet platter main meal and they was delicious! Mac and cheese was very custardy consistency but all the other food was beautiful! Bbq chicken wings where meaty and perfectly cooked. Was out of some of the beers we wanted but was replaced with Camden beer which was tasty.
Would recommend to all lovers of Italian food. And p.s do not sit near the door if you feel cold. Constantly opening and closing.
But otherwise staff friendly and food quick for coming out.

Food was amazing. I had the Bolognaise, the cocktails were also very delicious. I recommend the Cherry Cuba and the Popcorn Old Fashioned, full of sweet flavours. Our Host Dawn was amazing and very polite. Would eat here again. Thank you very much.

Feel awful none of us had any notes or change on us to leave a tip but server Chloe was lovely. Service was fast and food was amazing. All fancies a Frankie and bennies on the way back from Thorpe park.. drove all the way to Basildon just to get one. It did not disappoint!

One star seems too many. Used to really enjoy eating at F&B Basildon but service has gone downhill along with the menu. Kids had their menus and colouring pencils quite literally thrown at them by one of the friendly reception staff as they sat down at the table. Woman that served us was lovely but when it came to ordering a foot long steak sub or whatever it’s called on the menu, we were told there were only 6 inch rolls left (at £10 a go). Poor girl had to come back and try to explain that they’d not put two of the 6 inch rolls together to make a foot long sub (which is £13 on the menu) and offered us to speak to the manager. Spoke to manager and she told us that it would cost them too much money to put two 6 inch rolls together so we could either have one 6 inch roll at the price on the menu or pay for two at a cost of £20!!! I challenged but couldn’t be bothered in the end as completely illogical argument that two 6 inch rolls couldn’t be put together to make a foot!! Really got my goat. Rest of meal was a bit rubbish from there. They didn’t bring out sons birthday cake before dessert despite my request when booking (and confirming with the guy at reception when we got there that they’d made a note). Really couldn’t be bothered to raise it by the time we’d finally been served with our dessert. Ended up in there for almost 2 hours for 3 courses which was crazy. All pretty deflated by this point on what should have been a lovely celebration on our sons birthday and then a £100 bill to top it off. We were happy to pay it just to get out of the place. Completely gone down hill. We will never return to this branch which is a shame as been customers for years prior.

Went to Frankie and Benny's for dinner last night. The wait time was okay and we had booked a table so didn't have to stand at the bar for 45 minutes. Starters were lovely so we were eager for our mains. When they come out we were less than impressed. My partner had BBQ chicken which was 'edible' and my chicken in pitta was pathetic. There was all of about 3 pieces of shredded lettuce, mayo thrown in at the bottom so you didn't know it was there and the chicken was bland and dry. Best thing about the meal was the corn on the cob - never again and would not recommend to anyway. It's a shame because it used to be great there.

We were seated for 20mins before even being offered any drinks and our order was taken 10mins later. A jug of woo woo was ordered only to be told no jugs (bearing in mind the restaurant wasn't exactly busy!!) and was served 4 glasses instead. The woo woo was awful and had to change it for something else, double vodka and lemonade. The starters then turned up which was the meat feast platter. It said serves 3-4 people. The starters was also cold when reached the table. There was barely enough food for 2!! The mains were adequate , but not worth their price. We couldn't wait to get out of the restaurant so got the bill. Upon checking the bill, we were over charged for a double vodka. I can honestly say that was one of the worst experiences I have ever had in a restaurant and will not be returning.

Visited today for lunch for my sons 11th birthday (sons choice). Greeted by nice waitress, that’s where the good points end. Food was not good. Burger sent back as not hot, ribs no where near as nice, sons hot dog lots oil dripping, other sons pizza ok! Then the � appeared on the table � �. What has happened to this place? Won’t be going back

Went too Frankie and Benny's for lunch when we went in we were told mind the step, by the time we left I had forgotten about this step and there were not any signs to remind you or marks on the step, and when your looking up and talking you can easily miss it which I did, fell down in a heap on the floor had to be helped up and fill in an accident form then spent the rest of the afternoon in A & E not a good end to popping out for lunch. The food was disgusting I had the chicken and mushroom penne pasta, the pasta was oily and slimy I asked for extra mushrooms but got hardly any, tasted like a quick microwave meal and had hardly any chicken in it, when I compare the same dish to Villargio there is no comparison and would chose Villargios every time.
The waitress was lovely who served us and was very concerned and nice when I fell, but after that experience we won't go back as I'm now laid up feeling like I've been hit by a bus �

A half hearted experience! We booked at a later time but the waitress seemed that she wasn't interested in offering the service that I have had at this restaurant before, our plates left on the table, steak was requested to be cooked rare and came up medium to well done, not offered desert or coffees after our meal and I got the feeling they wanted us out so they could go home! Food was ok but experience was poor. Will not be returning

We always book for 6pm as we find that the later the booking time the worse the service can be and waiting times can be longer. No complaints at all for most recent, excellent waiter and food very good.

Food was cold, dry and the steak tough, hardly any chips, mushrooms not cooked it was bloody awful. It’s only cos my Son gets embarrassed that I didn’t return the lot and ask for my money back ... 1st n definitely my last time of going there.

Rude, Patronizing Staff!! Didn't tell us when we first ordered that the vouchers we had we couldn"t use, so had a very disagreeable conversation when the bill came, we had spend quite a bit of money aswell, he didn't even offer to get the drinks off bill or something for the inconvenience!! Food wasn't great, service slow and the waiter we had, had absolutely no people skills. Working in a customer service enviroment myself I was disgusted at the service we received and will not be eating at the basildon festival leisure frankie & benny's again!!
