Went in ask for well done pies , my preferred way to have pies , reply was no one likes burnt pies , I’ve been to 30 pies mash establishments & never been told that , pie was just ok, mash was to my liking, liquor was tasty but just about warm, It did pass the taste test but down the bottom of my list of pie mash shops.

Reasonably priced pie n mash, very friendly staff
Best pie and mash in Essex! Temporarily closed until 02/09/25 due to annual leave. Gutted. We've moved to Lincolnshire in march so whenever we're back down to see family, we pop in here. Due to closure we had to go to Robins in the town center to try and fill the void, wish I hadn't bothered. Doesn't even come close to Stacey's.
