Last minute meal out, great food, it was early so the place was a bit quiet.

We were a large group of 15. Service was excellent, attentive. Meals/drinks served in a timely manner. Food was hot & tasty. Everuone enjoyed it. No one moaned which doesn't happen often when our family eat out together!! Would visit again👍

What a lovely friendly beefeater, staff were well presented and friendly, food hot and tasty, love the new menu items, kids loved the new Biscoff sundae, definitely recommend and will be visiting again soon 😊

The drinks are rather cheap and very nice, quick service friendly staff. Food is nice but takes a while to come out, have the option to eat in the pub side rather than the restaurant and have an outside area.

The food was absolutely delicious. Tried the starters, calamari, prawn cocktail, halloumi bites.. Loved it! The mains were delicious too. Had the special burger. Would recommend. Wait times can be a little long, so I'd recommend grabbing your drinks at the bar. Cocktails are priced nicely and were pretty tasty too! Staff were very friendly and service very good.

Such an amazing experience and food. We have been in Basildon only for a driving test which my learner has passed first time. Kazza was amazing person who served us and made the atmosphere so lovely for us. I wish I could meet her again. Such an amazing lady. Thanks Kazza for your fantastic service.

I used both the hotel and the restaurant (twice). I found all the staff to be helpful, professional, constructive and welcoming. We had nice chats with several of them Top marks people!! 100%!!
The food was better than I expected from a budget end chain, again, well done.

We had a lovely meal tonight. Booked our table online was seated promptly and served our drinks. Our food took a while but they were very busy so we didn't mind. There was quite a few things not available but what we ended up having was very nice. Our waitress Daisy was very friendly too.
