Love this place.......takes me back to when I was young. The food is really tasty and fresh, staff are really friendly.
I was really shocked to when I read the other reviews on here saying the man running it was rude, I've always found him really pleasant and welcoming.
Have been here a number of times now. The staff are really friendly and are attentive to your needs. As expected, the food is always freshly cooked and served hot.
If you are expecting a gourmet experience then thus is not the place for you, but if you want good honest food, freshly made and tasty, then you can't go wrong here.
Still brilliant and really in the heart of the travel hub of the town. Fast and sit - down food as well as deserts and smaller meals. Made when you order so always fresh. Nice staff. Takes cards. Close to bus stops near to carparks near to rail station.
Just finished a quarter pounder with cheese meal, with a strawberry milkshake from here, merely moments ago. I was passing through Basildon when I felt enticed to come in and have something to eat; by the groans of hunger by my stomach.
I was at first greeted by a very kind gentleman of whom asked me what I would care to have. I took my seat after stating my meal for the evening and waited for the food. After a few minutes my milkshake was brought hence and after 10, my meal.
The milkshake was a decent viscosity and had that classic wimpy taste to it. The meal was given very courteously and delicately. It took me around 15 minutes to finish the meal, and it was a pleasure to eat. Well cooked and consistently nice. It is a lovely place to go to if you're in the mood for a nice, cheap meal. I will definitely be back.
I come here every week; maybe more than three times a week. Food is always good and always served with a smile. Loads of people visit this establishment, but all staff know you by name, it's the personal touch that matters. I've found myself going here to grab food and to get away from the troubles of life. I will be going here for many years to come.
Last Christmas the meal was vial, but since then the food has greatly improved. Not a fan of the chips in a bowl as its more washing up caused, but can't fault food now.
Good size lovely tasting food & manager was great, as he gave us a free ice cream, we will be going back for sure
Always have the quarter pounder with cheese, love the burger sauce. And the staff are very nice, especially Caroline who is more like a friend than a server, thank you carloine for always asking about my mum xxx
Great Place, im there every Saturday for my lunch or dinner. the bloke who runs the place is a great bloke and staff are friendly and very professional food is always well cooked and not a long arsed wait either.

It is a shame they have changed their opening times and I can no longer eat there
