Delicious! We ordered Jerk chicken & it tasted amazing. The rice, peas & the special jerk sauce was delish also & had so much flavour. A lovely treat & we can't wait to try again.

Absolutely delicious food. Had the jerk chicken with rice and peas and even though it was the small size there was enough rice to make 2 generous portions and it was really good. Chicken was cooked perfectly and tasted great! The guys made me a special order of mixed veg as well, which was also delicious. Great little place. Looking forward to going back

Ordered jerk chicken meal and oxtail meal- with rice and peas. Tasted yum yum yum. Pleasantly surprised, especially based on some of the negative reviews. But I'd say it's definitely worth a try. Can't wait to try the curry goat!

Bought some delicious food for my birthday and it did not disappoint in any way! They even sent me a small birthday cake - i would highly recommend for any one who wants to taste authentic Jamaican food to order from Mr Biggs. Big ups to them

This place is delicious, the best fast lunch in Basildon. Both stew chicken and jerk chicken are super but the jerk in particular in something special. Mr Bigg is also a gentleman who is lovely to chat with.

One of the best independent places in Basildon. Food is delicious and the guys are friendly. The market is a little rough+ready but that kinda adds to the charm. Definitely would recommend... if you've never had Caribbean food, try it.. you won't look back.. especially when you order the Jerk Chicken.

I kid you not, this is some of the best eats you will get in the whole of the South East of Essex...
Authentic Caribbean food, from someone who clearly knows his food and his culture. The price is fantastic, and the portions are insane. The Jerk Chicken was beaut, but the real star of the show is the "rice and peas"... Just wow.
