Sundaes Gelato

First of all, good quality of ingredients and excellent flavours. The meat from the grill had the bold charcoal aroma and was cooked to perfection. The complimentary starter with the red dip and tzatziki is value for (no)money on its own. The hot meze platter is highly recommended and so are the house specials. The meat was tender and not a hint of overcooking. To top it all we were blown away by the service. Behnam was very kind, he voluntarily replaced my tea as I had to leave the restaurant for a short errand and although it was still warm. He also offered an extra plate of complimentary starter and gave the kids juice on the house. You can see that they are making an effort to establish themselves in the town, but their food speaks at the end of the day.

This was the best Turkish restaurant I’ve been to, baring in mind I have eaten at many over the years. The lamb was seasoned and cooked to perfection. Not forgetting the Turkish bread with dips which is always a winner! Lovely staff and great atmosphere! Will defiantly return! Thank you so much The Meldiz

We ordered the meldz special mix and the food was delicious, the best grill I've ever had in basingstoke. Splendid Turkish beer. Everything had flavor, everything was well seasoned. The owner was spectacular, he was interested in the customer and customer satisfaction. We’ll definitely gonna come back there. We literally felt at home.

This is the second time I've been here and I must say, I don't know why I don't go more regularly. We got complimentary starters, bread & olives, the food was absolutely excellent. The service was great and the waiters were very accommodating and polite. We also got a free rice pudding which was fantastic. Left the place feeling extremely full and thinking it was well worth the money. We went on a Sunday evening so it was rather quiet in there in terms of atmosphere but at the end of the day, we go for the food. I will be honest, I've been here and I've been to the olive tree twice now. I very much prefer the food here and its always beat my expectations. Absolutely delicious and they deserve far more custom in my opinion. Thanks guys.

I took my daughter for a celebratory end of school meal, to just say how proud I am of her for trying her hardest. She sampled some food from here before so wanted to go for a meal herself. The creamy chicken casserole is DELICIOUS! Also the Chicken Iskender. We also had a desert but my daughter dived straight in before I could grab a photo 😂 clearly delicious! (American brownie!) The portion sizes are huge! Very good value for money. Amazing atmosphere, the mood of the venue is the perfect vibe. Very relaxing. Top notch service. Melisa was our waitress and it felt as if she was our personal waitress even though she was attending other tables. A very valued member of staff. The boss is very welcoming and friendly also. We look forward to coming back. X
