From being welcomed to leaving, Olé Tapas offers the best food and service experience you can dream of. There's not one dish I wouldn't order again, there's no place I could recommend more. If you are looking for fine and traditional Spanish tapas cuisine, look no further! It's a must (trust me, I come at least two times a month!). Antonio and Camila in Front of House Service, and the wonderful chefs Mario and Victor will make sure your experience is like no other! Make sure you reserve a table! It's a small place, but it guarantees you get the best 1-1 service!
Recommended to us by the pub just a few doors down. What a hidden treasure this place is. Wonderful food, drinks and service! Would definitely visit again
We have been here twice now and returned as we enjoyed it so much on our first holiday to bath. Good food and Sangria would recommend. The only thing that was a slight negative was that the bread starter come with the mains and was heavy on the garlic. Our food come out super quick due to the restaurant being quiet which was fine just but just made for a bit of a short evening. Service was good and would return if we come back to Bath.
Ole Tapas is one of my favorite Spanish restaurants in the UK. Every time we visit Bath, we make sure we make atleast one trip to this place. Their bread and patatas bravas are the highlights for me every time but it’s the red wine sangria that’s their crown jewel. The service is so good always and they’re so friendly. Definitely recommend a date night here if you’re in town!
Had the opportunity to visit Bath. Wanted a changed from English cuisine. Since I wanted more snacks, Tapas is a better choice. Read good reviews about this restaurant and decided to give it a try. It is situated on second floor. Serving not more than 6 tables. Usher to a corner table, very squeezed. Wanted squid but it was not on the menu. Opted for prawns and octopus. Prawns is good but. It the octopus, too salty. Damaged? Above average.
A lovely atmosphere with lovely staff Javi who served us even though we did not have reservations. The location is very hidden but we found it on google and decided to try it! We had ali oli with black garlic, shrimp paste special item, albóndigas and tortilla and we had a wine and an non alcoholic beer. So the food was nice but felt it would have been nicer to have some images per item so we knew what we were expecting. Javi gave us a lot of advice which was lovely!
The little problem came on the price of the wine since for a glass we paid around £8.7 which I wish there was a half glass that was half price for this. Also in the final bill they add service charge of 12.5% which I thought would have been nicer to have it as a option rather than adding to the bill and making us pay. We came for a small meal but it costed us quite a lot and wish the prices could be cheaper at happy hours.
A day before we went to another, also top rated tapas place in bath. Even though we ordered quite few plates, the food arrived in few minutes and was not even hot. Which made us feel that it was not prepared specifically for us. The next day we came to Ole Tapas and omg. You could see the chef cooking food for us, everything came fresh, hot, crispy, faultless. We ordered steak three times!
The best food we had in Bath and also the best food i had in a long time. Certainly the best tapas i had in my life!
Prawns were juicy, bread was hot and fresh, patatas crispy on the outside and soft in the middle, black garlic dip so soft and creamy. Omelette was cooked to absolute perfection, gooey in the middle.
The staff were amazing! We came here for my girlfriends birthday, and they reserved us a lovely table by the window with a “Happy Birthday” sign on it. The food was then delicious and quick, finished off by them surprising us by singing happy birthday along with the whole restaurant, and a complimentary piece of cake! I’d give 6 stars if I could, I can’t thank them enough!
This is a tiny and very cute restaurant with a great atmosphere. Booking is recommended.
We ate at the bar and watched the Chef cooking in a tight spaces doing an amazing job!
Every dish tasted fresh and packed with flavours. Excellent balance of seasoning and flavours.
The service is excellent too. Very friendly and welcoming.
Would definitely recommend and return every time visiting Bath.
Cosy, maybe even too much so, Tapas bar in central Bath. A good variety of vegetarian/gluten-free dishes meant that it suited our whole party. I did find a few of the dishes a little bit too oily which led me to feeling a bit ill the next day (or it could have been the red wine).
Without a doubt the best tapas I have ever had outside of Spain.
The food was incredible. Vibe was awesome.
A must visit if you are in Bath
The staff were so friendly, and the atmosphere was so lively! Food was also fresh and so delicious and you could see them cooking in their tiny kitchen. The food and drinks also came out very quickly
