The Corkage (Chapel Row) is an excellent venue in which to both enjoy fine food and wine. The knowledge and understanding of the staff is excellent. I greatly appreciated the care and attention to detail. The staff go to get lengths both to explain the wines and dishes available. The portions are excellent combined with a well chosen wine. I only wish that customers would appreciate the knowledge of the staff and not spend their time ordering diet coke. This is an exclusive wine bar if you want soft drinks Bath has other venues these. I would also love if there was more music in keeping with the fine wines. Michelle Legrand and French jazz would be one option to give a more relaxed atmosphere. If you appreciate and value the "finer" things in life, this is the place for you.

Enjoyed a lovely lunch and few glasses of wine here today. Had chicken, prawn, cabbage and pumpkin small plates (all delicious) with 3 glasses of great red wine each, for a very reasonable price given the quality. Atmosphere is great, nice and relaxed. Staff are knowledgeable about the wine and food, happy to chat through options. You can see you food being cooked in the corner by the chef who does a great job in the small space he works in. We will be back.

Love love love this place. Exceptional food (always changing) and a fantastic wine selection proffered by people who really know their stuff. Don't expect a wine list though - go in, tell them what you fancy and listen to the recommendations. Wines by the glass that tot up to no more than the equivalent bottle price. Superb!

One of the best wine and food experiences ever. The Corkage model of choice wine / producers paired with fantastic (small- medium sized) fresh local produce, cooked to perfection is a true joy. Not only that, the quality of personal service and attention detail is exceptional, considering the price per head.

The best wine bar in Bath and one of my favorites I have been to anywhere. I've had to edit my review as I didn't feel my previous one-liner did Corkage justice. Marty, behind the bar, has an incredibly knowledge of wine and is always happy to help recommend wines based on your own preferences and does so in a friendly way and never patronizing or condescending. We've never eaten here but I hear that Richard in the kitchen produces some wonderful dishes, they've certainly looked and smelled great when they've gone past! Following the success of this place, they have opened a second venue on Queen's Square. Corkage is one of those places that you just love to see flourish and prosper.

We loved this cute wine bar. Really chilled atmosphere and staff with excellent wine knowledge. Whether you're an amateur or an officianado, this place will cater for you. Cheese boards are available too but we just had a couple of glasses of wine (and lovely conversation with the hosts).

I did some research on where to eat in Bath and Corkage came highly recommended. It did not disappoint, the wine and food were both delicious. We had five plates between two people and it was just enough. I would definitely come back to Bath just to go there again.

Corkage is a fantastic little, independent wine bar and restaurant. They serve small plates that hoy can order and share and have an amazing selection of wines. Atmosphere wise, it is casual and welcoming. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable and friendly; they have always recommended me really good wines and they know their stuff. However, there is no pretension or elitism as in some wine places I've been; just enthusiasm and a desire to help you choose the right wine for you! The food is really tasty and there is a decent selection of small plates that changes at intervals. The prices are very reasonable; you can get a small glass of red for under £5 and large for under £10 (or you can get a carafe or bottle; however, as almost all seem to be by the glass too I tend to just keep trying by the glass and am yet to be disappointed). A real gem of a place and very glad to hear they're about to open another location in Bath over in Queens Square.

Began life as a pop-up, but still going strong. And well it might. It's a gem. The wine selection is great, as you'd expect; varied and unusual. The craft beers are also good, but the range could be expanded. The food, modern British sharing plates, is excellent. Casual, yet marvelously memorable.
