We've been going to Chandos Deli for years and it was one of our favourite café spaces in Bath. Great food, but the coffee is not nearly as good as it used to be.

A lovely traditional cafe with an organic feel, serving a good range of freshly prepared food and cake. Staff were friendly and welcoming, and our order promptly arrived with a smile.

We are staying in an apartment above the deli. They make delicious sandwiches, and we had two. Excellent flavors on tasty bread. I had white cheddar with caramelized onion marmalade on a crusty baggette. My daughter had focaccia with salami & brie. Thought the prices were fair for this tourist area.

The Big Fella Travels

There's no arguing this place has a fantastic selection of sandwiches and cakes to choose from. But ..... here's the moan.... they serve the sandwiches on a chopping board which looks nice but really not practical to carry with your coffee as it's heavy. Order a tea and cake (as I did ) they put the teapot, milk and cup on a little tray but ..... here's the moan .... no place for the cake again making it difficult to carry Nice cake tho.
