The restaurant was bustling and the staff were welcoming. The wings were full of flavour and succulent. The one bite salmon was a little too complex for my undeveloped taste. The crispy slow cooked beef was a revelation. My daughter’s(3) peanut sauce chicken skewer was “sooo good, delicious and scrumptious “
My table neighbour said they also felt the food was good.

Had a really good experience. Although it was full, we got our order in less time. Lamb shank Massaman was really tasty. The noodles were good too. And the red curry was the best. Will definitely go again.

Had a lovely lunch at a good price. Had the salt and pepper squid tapas set and the squid was excellent. Very nice kiwi yoghurt ice cream too. Attentive, friendly service, Waitress refilled my water glass twice without having to ask her. Will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful experience at Giggling Squid. After walking past this place many times and never trying it we booked for a quiet and small leaving meal for a work colleague. Situated in a very picturesque historic square in Bath, directly opposite the Theatre Royal it is perfectly located. Having booked a table inside it was a beautiful sunny evening so we asked if we could sit outside and were happily accommodated. Drinking Thai beer, eating delicious and authentic Thai food we were all delighted with our choices and would all return. Well done Giggling Squid!

Had a quick drink and a couple of bites here right after dinner nearby.
Excellent location and great spot for people watching.
Margarita was delicious, and both dishes were well made. In particular the Papaya salad which reminded of Thailand. Very authentic.
Service was okey and can be a bit slow during peak hour but staff were friendly.
Just be aware of the seagulls lol 🤣

I came here alone, and had three dishes, two were appetizers and a salad. The menu has a lot of lovely options and was full of beautiful descriptions and flavor profiles. I ordered grilled squid with crispy Thai garlic and chilies and Samui Zingy Prawns. The bronze were a perfect by with a bite. The heat was subtle, but lasting and so tasty. The squid was cooked perfectly and I finished with the freshest crispiest salad, the bamboo golden berry salad. It was fresh. It was crisp, citrusy and an absolute delight. Unimportant things, but notable nonetheless: the architecture is really cool. The design is fairyland, and the plates and ceramic ware are beautiful art pieces. I enjoyed my meal here a lot and highly recommend it.

It is an amazing place from the outside that gets better inside. The Giggling Squid has an excellent menu with some real classic Thai dishes. The servers are excellent and very knowledgeable about all the dishes. I would highly recommend trying here.

We had great Thai food here, very tasty, lots of fish options, good options for allergies as well including gluten free. We had 3 starters and a main meal to share, all of it was fantastic. It gets very busy in here, would advise to book! Would definitely go back.

The atmosphere and design of this resturant is absolutely stunning. The food and cocktail was delicious too! The staff were so attentive . One issue though, our bill should have come to £45 and we were charged £65. Maybe we got given the wrong bill but we werent offered a recipt to check :(

Georgey our waiter was honestly so lovely, pleasant, helpful, and sweet (despite working some long days, which didn't show!). Seana was also very pleasant, welcoming and helpful. Really personable staff who made it an even more pleasant experience! :)
We ate outside as it was sunny but discovered later it is a truly stunning place inside!!! Enticing, appetising, colourful, beautifully presented food, and some of it was really yummy! The Thai spicey rice balls were really unique and delicious!! The massaman curry was tasty!! (But totally mild, not spicy at all). Tom yum fried rice was also yummy!! (Couple of other vegetarian dishes - not really a fan. Couldn't try the interesting sounding salad on the day due to a product issue). Thanks again Georgey and Seana :)

I did not expect a good fried squid, we just went in to enjoy a glass of wine and busking in the square. was a bit surprised to find out it was actually crispy on the outside and chewy inside, also goes well with the dip sauce. hope the portion was a bit bigger.

This is an excellent date night restaurant or for classic Thai cuisine. If you are craving extremely spicy dishes, you might want to look elsewhere but if you are looking for something delicious this is the place for you.

Went as a party of 4 for dinner on our first night of a weekend in Bath after the restaurant being recommended by friends who have dined there before saying it was the best food they had tasted outside of Thailand. So, was expecting great things and boy did it deliver.
The sharing platters as starters were amazing, So much flavour and the presentation was top notch. The mains were out of this world. I had Pad Kee Mao it was so good I bought the cookbook to replicate at home.
Everyone in our party couldn't say enough good things about the food.
The guy serving us was brilliant, great personality, fantastic sense of humour and nothing was too much trouble. Also had a beautiful Buddhist watch ( you know who you are).
If you get the chance go, it's awesome. Just make sure to book in advance.

Visited for the first time this week while away celebrating wife’s birthday.
Main restaurant wasn’t busy but they had a party of 50 downstairs.
Despite this it was amazing. From being greeted by friendly guy at the door who I assume was the manager to the different staff who took orders cleared table and brought food and drinks all were exceptional.
We couldn’t have had a better experience and the food was amazing.
So glad to have one opening in Cardiff soon so we can come more often.
