I'm not a cake person, more a savory beast, but I could easily be persuaded to visit again. We had afternoon tea starting with sandwiches and then three tiers of yum, savory, scone and then cake working bottom up. We munched through thirteen items each, making little noises of pleasure as we went on. A very nice cup of tea a week t!

Wonderful afternoon tea! The salmon starter, variety of sandwiches and cakes were delicious! Champagne chilled to perfection. The atmosphere was so relaxing and staff were very welcoming. To round of this wonderful experience was a very talented pianist. I would definitely recommend and visit again when next in Bath.

Took my grandmother for her 70th birthday. Shes always wanted to go and she was not disappointed. Very professional, atmosphere takes you back in time. Service and staff were lovely and the food was SO good! Also is right next door to the Roman baths so we went straight through to the tour after breakfast. Can also see one of the baths from the Pump Room. You also get to taste the water from the baths. Very good for you with all its minerals, just very warm and tastes like pennies haha. Worth a try though, whats the sense travelling to Bath and not tasting the waters.

What a wonderful experience! We didn't manage to book online a table in time and the gentleman that received us made everything possible for us to have tea here. We chose the afternoon tea selection, and it was amazing: delicious little sandwiches, scones and cakes, and tea/coffee. The room itself is also beautiful and there was a musician playing piano, which made everything even better. Highly recommended, but do try to book a table online in advance (we came here after a walking tour that ended by the Roman Baths). Lovely!

The highlight of our trip to Bath! As Jane Austen fans we were especially charmed to be there and enjoy a bit of the Georgian atmosphere. An unexpected plus-there was no need to pay the pricey tickets to the actual Roman Baths as a bay window overlooked it and included an elegant fountain from which you can take the provided cups and enjoy the warm mineral water which is surprisingly tasty as well as reputedly beneficial.

Staff were attentive, friendly, yet professional. We loved the varied choice of both savoury & sweet. Some of the best scones I've eaten in ages. The addition of the Trio of musicians ( who then played Happy Birthday to me) were a lovely addition. Thank you, Bath Pump

We arrived for afternoon tea, even without a booking got seated promptly. Every single item of food was delicious, the service was impeccable. The live music had not started until after we had finished, so next time we plan to come later (after 2ish) so we can enjoy the music too.

A lovely way to spend some time. We booked for a slice of cake and a hot drink. I had the carrot cake and hot chocolate, and they were both delicious. My family had the chocolate cake and a cheese and chive scone, and they also thought they were great. The piano player in the background added a lovely atmosphere, and the staff were polite and friendly.

Lovely and most enjoyable afternoon at the Pump Room. Excellent afternoon tea, most welcoming and efficient staff. Ambience revives the Georgian period, adding perfection to que whole experience.

The experience is completely worth the price. I truly appreciate how accommodating they were of vegetarian and vegan diets. The tea was lovely as was the music. Thank you!
