Sally Lunn's Historic Eating House & Museum - Bath - Photo album

I heard a lot about this place so I decided to finally try it. There was a bit of queue outside but it moves very fast. We only waited few minutes. The interior seems quite small but there’s plenty of space inside. We were seated on the second floor. We tried the Sally Lunn’s bun with clotted. Mine
Visited with my girlfriend as a finale to a 3 day birthday weekend. I had visited Bath previously with my father but he was much to impatient to queue for this in the middle of the day. Lady & I visited of an early evening so fell within scope of the dinner menu. I had the Braisee Beef & Mushroom
Really enjoyable afternoon meal here at Sally Lunn's Bun Shop. The building is super old and has lots of history. **they have gluten and dairy free scones and a gluten free brownie that is delicious** so if you don't eat bread you can still enjoy a great afternoon tea here. The buns are huge and the
What a great place with it’s magical atmosphere and matching medieval music. We came here for a dinner. My girlfriend has been here before and ask me to come with her. She said those buns are must to try with Guinness which has an old style original bottle. >>> Really adds on to the whole experience
Been here 3 times. It’s a go-to place when someone comes to visit me in England. Tried both their savouries and sweet, my fav is still the lemon curd one. There is always a line outside, so be patient or come on odd hours. Building is very narrow but delicately decorated and maintained. Food was ser
This historic place deserves all the hype. The Sally Lunn buns are a must try when in Bath. The buns are freshly made, super soft and slightly toasted. Available in both sweet and savoury. We tried the sweet buns with cinnamon butter and Cornish tea and chocolate butter with clotted cream. Both the
Sally Lunn's Historic Eating House - Bath Sunday August 5th 2023 What a great place, steeped in history. The food great, the service excellent....atmosphere good. A bit of wait but do it as you won't be disappointed. We had the Steak and Mushroom Trencher and the special of the day Creamy Pork !!
Highly recommended if you visit Bath. We had a wonderful dinner here and of course tried their famous bun. You can reserve a table for dinner (with limited options) but not for lunch. The queue was quite long when we went there and glad that we had a booking. The food was very good and the staff
Yummmm!!! I had their famous cinnamon butter bun and it was one of the best toasted buns I have eaten. So soft, perfectly toasted and the cinnamon better was delicious. A cute cozy tea house with so much history - loved it.
we loved the savoury buns so much that we had to come back the next day to try the sweet buns and loved them as well; it might be touristy but for all the right reasons and totally worth coming here!
A lovely place for an afternoon tea. We had Ham & Piccalilli, Toasted Brie. A house blend tea and rosé lemonade for drinks. Martin was extremely excellent and helpful in service. The Ham & Piccalilli was tasty and delicious together with the toasted Brie. Loved the atmosphere. Waiting time to get se
Historic place in Bath to have tea and unique Sally Lunn's buns. There is a bit of queue and wait at most times. But food is worth the wait. Tea is great, tasty and served in pretty kettle and saucer. Cinnamon buns tasted great 😃 There are good selection of savoury options too.
I would recommend getting here early if you can. The buns were very tasty and moist. The cinnamon and lemon curd buns were both amazing, feel free to try other ones or share a few amongst each other to be able to try a few different ones. Highly recommend it you are in Bath to try this place at le
As a famous item of Bath, of course you have to try it We ordered afternoon tea (salmon with dessert) served with a big butter bag The food is simple but delicious English milk tea with meals is definitely a holiday relaxation But be careful to book for half an hour in line But trust me~ it's worth
We order a full breakfast and a cup of coffee. The toast was amazing, it is very tasty and you can't find it in any other place. However, the coffee is just average. I think I should order tea instead.
Such a long que and no one is there to guide you because after standimg in the que for 20 min we came to know that it was for dine in not for museum . MUSEUM IS DOWNSTAIRS SO no need to stand in a que just go straight inside and then downstairs !! Not proper management with the que as there were so
Very good place for having amazing bun. Chocolate butter and cinnamon butter bun are highly recommended 😋. And an interesting thing is we can see a small museum there too.
Hit it right at opening before the crowd rolled in. My cranberry & brie (added Bacon) was great. Son's Potato Leek soup was good as well, but my wife's cream cheese and salmon bun was just ok. It's a cute place, but the # of people and the drizzly rain pushing them into the hallway did detract a lit
