This place is great but the layout can be tricky, it always seems to be full because it is small and a few tables are wobbly. It is also quite loud from all the machines working in the kitchen which isn't separate from the eating area. Having said that the food and smoothies are really good, and there is strong Wi-Fi connection. It seems to be run independently by passionate people, and as a vegan I am happy to see anyone furthering the cause.

Beautiful and filling acai bowl on the breakfast menu in this 100% vegan place. Also the coffee was absolutely delicious. Will visit again next time I am in Bath for lunch.

Lovely cafe serving really delicious home made vegan food - from hearty salads and amazing falafel wraps to homemade quiches and cakes.

Lovely vegan food with gluten free options. I wish I'd taken a photo as the plate was a beautiful array of colour. I had a barbecued jack fruit burger, not something I have eaten before. It was very tasty with a good range of textures through the meal. I'm not vegan or vegetarian but I very much enjoyed my meal and if we are in the area again is happily eat here another time.

We had one falafel wrap and one roasted veg wrap. Both were really tasty. Also tried my first ever smoothie thing which was pretty damned good, which surprised me, although £4 does seem a little expensive. We went with 2 babies which did make the visit a little awkward as it's pretty small inside. Saw a few burgers on other tables and they also looked pretty good. Portions were generous.

Wonderful food! Had the burger which was lovely and a decent portion. Left feeling very content. Would highly recommend the food here although feel staff could be a little friendlier on arrival

Amazing food, nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Completely plant based cafe with lots of delicious options. We had falafel wrap and roast veg wraps- both were really good and so filling. Also had really good chai tea.

A lovely breakfast! Really tasty, healthy, a nice smile from the waitress, not the cheapest place but very good quality and service, recommended!

Just visited here last weekend, very impressed. I haven't been before then for well over a year and was very pleased with the way the menu has changed, they have a much larger selection than they used to. The fresh lemonade was amazing and we tried the organic salad bowl, the beetroot wrap and the falafel burger. I would recommend all 3 as they were delicious, service was quick even though they were very busy and the staff were very friendly. Only downside if it is busy is that the seating is very limited and we had to wait a while for a table to free up. Although to be fair to them, there isn't much they can do in their current premises. They are also dog friendly if anyone was wondering!

Wonderful. I am neither vegetarian nor vegan; but Beyond the Kale is just a great place serving up lovely, fresh vegetables and salads irrespective of any dietary choices. More reasonably priced and better quality cooking that the competition in Bath too. The falafel ain't half bad either.

Friendly service, great food: I'm not vegan, but thoroughly enjoyed tasty, filling and beautifully made food. Only downside is lack of toilet facilities - a place to wash hands is desirable, but then it us in most eateries. A must for Vegans, highly recommended if not.
