I wish I could give them 10Stars. By far the best Italian meal I have ever had, and dare I say even better than what I’ve had in Italy. Their Bruschetta is to die for.
This place is located in pretty much the city center and center of all activity in Bath. Very close the Roman Baths and Abbey. We ordered a cannelloni and vegetarian lasagna, both of which were very tasty. When he served it they both looked identical with the generous use of cheese and tomato based sauce. However the flavors beneath the cheese and tomato were great. I recommend it as a good alternative to both the fine dine and pizza chain restaurants as you don't need a booking in advance like in the Fine Dine ones (Sotto Sotto - which is on my list and the next time I'll make a booking and go there) and it isn't only Pizza like the chains.
A cozy ‘little’ restaurant just up the road from the Roman Baths. Serves freshly prepared Italian dishes. Our Garlic Bread with Mozzarella and Speciality Pizza were both of a high standard, and far better than those typically obtained at chain outlets. Good value for money.
The real Italian taste with a reallybgreat ambience.

The Real Italian Pizza Company Bath, is a family owned pizzeria that serves pizza as prepared in Italy. As we walked in the door you can see the wood fired oven, and sense the aroma of wood fired pizza and pasta being prepared. Unfortunately there was no room down stairs beside the wood oven, so we dined upstairs. The wait staff were very efficient and professional. The menu reflected a genuine Italian pizza range. The wood fired oven gives the pizzas a great flavour with a base that creates crispy and doughy bits to savour. We all enjoyed our choices of pizzas, which were extremely tasty. Very enjoyable dinner with a glass of wine.
After a full day wondering the beautiful streets of Bath, we were in need of some well deserved break! Feeling really tired, we decided to have dinner at a slightly unconventional hour like 6:30 but the restaurant was ready to serve! We started with a colourful antipasti tomato, rocket and mozzarella salad.. it tasted magnificent.. drizzled with balsamic vinegar, it tasted exactly like it should! We were then presented with two huuuuge pizzas! I ordered the pepperoni and jalapeños and even though I'm a sucker for pepperoni, the jalapeños is too much hot to handle in just one pizza! My partner asked for the vegetariana and it was really good combination of the sweet flavour of aubergines with the salty taste of goat cheese. I had a lovely glass of rose wine and I could barely move when we tried to head home! Staff is really friendly and it was a very good experience overall!
After wandering wet, drizzly streets most of the day in Bath, we were ready for some hot comfort food. And what better than hand tossed, wood-fired pizza? We took a table right in front of The Real Italian Pizza Company’s big window, looking out from our warm, cozy spot at folks passing by. We loved the punches of color and design scattered throughout the shop (see Gallery). Even more, we loved watching the guys working the dough, tossing it high in the air. Really fun! As soon as our pizza was delivered, we dove in. So, no pictures. Just know it was good. Staff were friendly and took good care of us. The restaurant was pretty much full by the time we left and I understand why; there's a pizza for everyone. If you're in Bath, you like pizza and you can get in then give it a go.
We were 4 adults and 4 kids for lunch here. We were returning from butlins and thought to visit Bath and have lunch here. Were searching for restaurants, and we found this amazing place as soon as kids said they want pizza. We ordered margarita pizza, garlic bread, dough balls, cannoleni, lasagna, olives.. Loved the piping hot lasagna here specially. Kids loved their pizza and garlic bread. Nice place to have Italian food. Would recommend this place.. Also you can have yummy ice cream next door..
Great food, wonderful taste - having been to Italy multiple times, this pizzas were better than some italian ones!
The place itself is lovely, but not impressive, however - if this is not an essential aspect of your trip, I would definitely recommend.
Impeccable service, especially from Robert.
Amazing wood fire pizza with fast quick service. A place you should stop at if you want some hot food in a hurry!
It's a nice and decent place to have a quick meal at any time. Loved the pizza over here, and yes, the starters are too good 🤩 too!!!
They have various options in veg and non-veg, and the best part is their dough ball with garlic butter as a side is just delicious 🤩!!!
I dined at Real Italian Pizza Co on April 22, 2023. Went in to get dinner after a long day of walking around bath. The place was very easy to find using google maps.
I sat downstairs where I could see the pizza making in action. To any overcooked fans, it was like watching it in real life.
I ordered lasagna and bruschetta. The food was made fresh, delicious and very authentic. The service was quick and good. They also have icecream store next door. You can order desserts to your table from the icecream shop.
Loved the experience. Will definitely add it to my favourite restaurants in Bath.
Up for a tall, cold one and a taste of traditional Italy, anyone!? Well, then this is not to be missed! Don't shy away if you see the front patio full...there's a beautiful, shaded back patio as well. Right next door is the best ice-cream in Bath.👍
Friendly greeting upon arrival. Good service throughout. Typical Italian menu at prices to be expected for the location....the real bonus was Italian staff and the pizza being cooked in a proper pizza oven ( open flame) 🍕.... pretty much as good as in Italy.
I visited The Real Italian Pizza Company on Monday 23 May 2022 in the evening, a weekday during term time. I was with one other person. This was my first visit. I used Google Maps to find the restaurant, which was easy and led me straight to the right place.
The restaurant comprises of one small dining area with a small number of tables with full table service. There is also a garden area with more tables.
The team were friendly and welcoming and I had no issues - we got everything we expected in good time and enjoyed the experience.
The food was delicious, very authentic, it arrived hot, was well presented and tasted really good. There was a good selection of food and I found something that appealed to me easily. The food was good value for money, I paid around £30 for two courses and drinks.
Overall I enjoyed my visit and would visit again.
We were seated outside and the birds took our pizza. They gave us a new one, for free!! The food was super good.
We were here as part of a tour (of course) and had a short window for lunch. The food was extremely tasty and our pizza was on our table quickly. My wife and I chatted with our server as we had our pizza and wine. Overall a delightful lunch.
