We called in here today as we'd stayed overnight at The George Public House. We had a very welcoming reception and really fantastic coffee. It was a different kind of experience too and we will definitely be back. Prices were also very fair.

Perfect sized delicious cakes! They have benches and space along the towpath for seating and sell all-sorts from iced coffee and diet coke to lattes, cakes and Marshfield ice-cream. There is on street parking next to the local primary …

Take a walk, or cycle, along the Kennett & Avon canal from Bath and when you reach Bathampton you can reward yourself with something from the Cafe on the Barge. A great selection of drinks, hot & cold, lovely cakes, or ice cream - vegan options included. Definitely worth the walk/cycle.
A fun place to stop for a refreshment or light meal when out for a walk or bike ride along the canal in Bathampton. Picnic tables are a great place to meet people who come from all over to enjoy the canal.
