Amazing atmosphere, great location too….right in the middle of Bath town centre. Plus our server Molly was such a beautiful and highly professional young woman…..a credit to the pub.

Great drinks, great atmosphere. Very accommodating for the over 150 members of the uni lacrosse club despite no notice. would absolutely recommend the westgate (and the wobblers).

As the social sec of the lacrosse club, I was very very happy, as we had planned to go to Westgate for one of our largest socials of the year, however, we had forgotten to give any notice of our arrival. We came as a group of 150 people and with no notice, they were more than happy to take us and accommodate us. We went for around 2 hours, and as a group went through what I can say was hundreds of drinks. No complaints from anyone within the group, and the Westgate Wobblers are absolutely incredible and everyone agreed with me.
It was a lovely atmosphere within the pub very friendly and welcoming staff, great drinks prices, and a lovely venue.
I am almost certain that we will be going back there, not just as a club but as individuals.

I’m a student who recently turned 20 and contacted the Westgate to try and book out a space to host a large gathering of friends to celebrate. I was in frequent contact with the GM Lee who was able to book out the entire first floor for a private function hosted by the amazing Danny at the bar. Everyone was really vocal about the great atmosphere and setting, as well as the service and selection of drinks. Thanks to the whole team for making it an amazing birthday!

Me, my wife, two daughters and dog were looking for somewhere for Sunday roast. Walked past The West Gate and I popped in to enquire. The gentleman who was serving could not have been more helpful and got us a table. Brought a bowl of water for the dog and was brilliant. Food was fantastic. Excellent Sunday Roast, lovely beer and great atmosphere. Would recommend it to anyone. Great staff team
