Superb Sunday roast my children assured me. My hake was absolutely delicious, but I forgot to take a pic. And the birthday fudge was as delicious.
The venue was stunning, staff lovely, food superb.
All perfect and then a minibus arrived with 20 or so ‘patrons’.

One of the best Sunday roasts that I’ve ever had !
If you are two sharing , definitely get a roast + a wellington . It takes 25 mins to be ready but it’s worth the wait. Their Bloody Mary is also worth a mention !
I’ll definitely be back the next time that I visit bath

Walcot House never fails to deliver. Friendly service, quality food, excellent wine options (especially the Coravin selections). I had the Miso Cabbage starter and it was extraordinary.

Just moved to Bath and started my search for today for a Sunday Roast spot. Great start with solid food, friendly and professional staff, great drink choices and a chilled atmosphere. I will certainly be back.

We had dinner last night @ The Walcot. A very happening place, busy but in a good way. The staff were on point, and the food was exceptional.

Went in to see this place as a possible wedding reception meal provider.
Loved the ambience, the staff, the look and smell of the food being served !
Sadly, the function room is a little too tight for our requirements...

Walcot House Bath - a lovely setting - beautiful decor with lots of greenery!
Excellent service and top food! We had the roast which was excellent - generous portions and cauliflower cheese to die for! Lots of roasted vegetables - too
many different veg to name! Plenty of tasty home
made gravy. I would not usually have a roast but was recommended and it was delicious.
Puds amazing and all
homemade.
Damson Amaretti crumble and rhubarb crumbles and a chocky mousse to follow! All delicious!
Good selection of gin, wine, lager and craft beer.

I popped in solo for some afternoon snacks and wine. Service was good and food was good, although food presentation was not as flash as what they post on IG.

We walked into the Dilly bar without reservations and the staff was extremely helpful in sitting us in the bar with full menu. As long as they know up front you want to dine in the bar they are ok with it.
We had steak and fries with some really nice wines but skipped desert as we were too full. Really satisfied as our last meal in England prior to returning home.

The sourdough was fluffy and delicious, the beef tartare was flavorful, the dry-aged chateaubriand was impeccably executed, and the apple crumble was the perfect finale. And service was quick and friendly.
The best dinner date night at Bath!
Thanks!

The best Sunday lunch my wife and I have had! Lovely setting and friendly staff. The trimmings that came with our shoulder of lamb were delicious, the roast potatoes were so crispy! We will definitely be coming back on our next trip to Bath!

We loved it here and everyone was so welcoming - especially to our dog! The small plates bar menu was a win. We tried most things on there plus some cocktails. Stand out items were the short rib croquettes, sourdough bread with anchovy butter and fritto misto. It was a wonderful relaxing setting and we'd go back.

This quite the late review but, here we are. After visiting this place 4 times (once for drinks, and twice for lunch and once for Dinner), I think this place is a nice visit on any given day.
When we came here for drinks at around 4pm on a Saturday (used to London prices), we were surprised that drinks for such a place like this (looks pricey) were decent (approx £8). Their kitchen was closed but they were kind enough to offer homemade chips on the house while we all had a round of drinks and coffee.
The first time around for lunch, we have tried their pizzettas and small salads along with coffee. While the second time we tried their beef ragú.
For dinner, we went with their set menu of two items — a fish dish and a vegan pasta. Both were really good and fairly priced.
It’s hard to tell you what’s on the menu as it’s tends to change every month.
All that is to say, the vibe here is nice and clean — with staff pretty friendly.

Finally had dinner here this week with my wife, after walking past it many times and liking the look of it.
Didn’t visit the nightclub downstairs, which was belting out music but presumably closed. Just sat in the front area for a couple of glasses of wine (which were excellent examples of their types) and some food.
We started by sharing the mussels and this was a fantastic decision...unusually served on half-shells with a delicious breadcrumb mix in too...we had devoured much of it before I remembered to photograph the dish...sorry, but it was so good.
I then had the roast cod on curried lentils & a celeriac purée...and was not disappointed with my choice. Perfectly cooked fish with well thought through accompaniments...mouth-wateringly good. Sue had the Lamb Ragu, which she loved too...although perhaps it had a touch too much mint in it? Still delicious.
We don’t normally do desserts, but they had donuts on the menu so I had to try that too...and again they absolutely nailed it.
This is my new favourite restaurant in Bath and we’ll be back again soon.
