Picnic In The Park

Came in a few weeks back before a wedding at the Temple of Minerva for a breakfast sarnie. The cafe is small but we found some seats. It is clear how much the owner really cares about his locals as he chatted away to an old boy for a good few minutes which was very sweet. He was extremely friendly to us too, asking questions and making conversation. It really does make all of the difference when the service is that good! Food was great- just what we needed! Keep up the good work, it’s a lovely space :)

I was lucky enough to win their competition over the summer. My husband and I enjoyed a fabulous evening with great wine and delicious tapas. The atmosphere was welcoming and cosy and the staff attentive and friendly, but not in an overwhelming way. Food was reasonably priced and well presented. If you haven't visited - you really should! Can't wait to book our next visit. Thank you so much for a wonderful evening 😊

We had only just arrived in Bath and walking towards the centre. By luck this was the first place we saw to recharge after a 160 mile drive. What a piece of fortune, great food and simply the best millionaires shortbread I've ever eaten. But mostly what was so impressive was the friendly owners. Nothing was too much trouble and lots of tips and interesting knowledge of how best to make the most of our stay in Bath. Helped made our stay in wonderful Bath. If we lived locally we would use this Cafe often. The world would be a better place if we called all be this friendly to strangers. The jokes on the boards outside are also a nice touch :) When we return I will be back for more shortbread.
