We ate here on a Wednesday night and it was a great quiet dinner. The restaurant had a good wine and cocktail menu along with a great food menu. The atmosphere was one of the best in Bath from what we have seen. The chef and staff went the extra mile to split our meal. Would recommend to anyone look

There were 7 of us on a busy Saturday night.but we were given the perfect balance of attention and service . The food was outstanding. I had to have a taste of everyones. Everyone l their meals from vegetarian to meat dishes and we even had to order a double dessert (chocolate moose with raspberry

The Porter was an "Amazing pub community" so I have to agree with Chris there, however I feel that as a building in such a prime location it never really delivered to it's full potential. Came for afternoon tea at the weekend on a hen weekend. I'm vegan and they made me vegan sandwich and nibbles as well as a pud I felt absolutely spoilt! Service was also excellent.
