Dr Gelato

We just got our first delivery of Dr Gelato and it was just as delicious as buying it from their store in Bath. Smooth and creamy just as it should be and we thought it was the best gelato outside of Italy hands down! I was not sure about getting gelato delivered initially but ordering online was easy and the delivery service was fantastic. Thank you to the team at Dr Gelato for making our day!

So glad we found this gem in the few days we had in Bath! The flavours were so niche and interesting that it was almost impossible to choose. I think I had white chocolate and honeycomb, plus a scoop of mint choc chip. The flavour was unreal and delicious. Only fault is how quickly it melted- so I wouldn’t recommend a cone to a slow eater. My mother had the flat white flavour which happened to be vegan and absolutely loved it. 100% recommend!

We queued for about half an hour but very much worth the wait! So many great flavours, staff are super friendly (it was so hot so to maintain a cool temperament was impressive), each mouthful was just as good as the last. I’ll be back for more. No idea what some people are on about, well worth the money for quality and quantity, three gigantic scoops in a waffle cone for a fiver.

Good ice cream place in Bath which caters to vegan / gluten free and individuals with dietary requirements. A lot of flavours to choose from - I went for the vanilla and cookies and cream, both were really nice and the portion sizes were generous. Price was very decent compared to Swoon however I would say this tasted more like an English version of gelato rather than Italian gelato , so all in all very good ice cream but feels more like good English ice cream than what I may perceive as authentic gelato. Would visit again as the flavours were really cool.

Most amazing ice cream, the flavors were intense and pure, the gelato wasn't overly sugary, just felt light and delicious. My first reaction was WOW! I tried rum and raisin, as well as flat white (Vegan) and they were both incredible. The staff were super nice and friendly. Loved everything about the experience! Coming back for more!

I came here with my partner while we wearing exploring Bath. This shop is excellent for those that have particular dietary requirements including diary free. I went for a waffle with whipped cream and it was brilliant. The taste and texture was a great and I wish we got more. If I come to Bath in the future, I will certainly come back here and order the waffles.The staff were very friendly and the shop was modern and stylish.

As you can tell I couldn’t even wait until the photo before tasting the ice cream. I fell to temptation after I was told their ‘guest flavour’ of the day was vegan orange and almond - it was amazing. Good vegan ice cream is hard to find but I think I struck gold with this place. The staff were lovely, very helpful and explained ingredients/flavours/options for vegans. The raspberry sorbet (on top) was delicious, some sorbets can be really overpowering but this was sweet and delicate. It might have been a cold day but this ice cream was just perfect!!

This place was recommended by our Tour Guide in Bath (Premium Tours "Private Viewing of Stonehenge (Sunset), Bath & Lacock") and it was a delicious vegan ice cream! I got scoops of Chocolate, Lemon and Hazelnut. My sister had Strawberry, Chocolate & Rum-Raisin. It was 3.75 GBP for 3 scoops. Very yummy so we can recommend it!
